My visit was several years ago, when he first started doing cornea transplants. My name is Patricia S. The optometrists that I have been to since then said whoever did my transplants did a great job. I am still seeing out of my original transplant in my left eye. I am on my second one in my right eye. I wanted to say thank you for all the sight you have given me all these years. Patricia

He was horrible. He had an attitude was rude. I don’t believe these reviews after what I witnessed. He did not want to listen. He was not patient or kind. Some people may not have the best insurance but you don’t have to treat them like crap or talk crap to your assistant in front of them. I typically don’t leave reviews but, I have to warn if others are thinking of going to him. 1 star is being too generous.

Dr.Timothy Kisla at Advanced Eye Care in New Lenox Illinois saved my left eye! I’m a 63 yr old female with good sight, wearing progressive lenses and contacts. One day in early September, 2019 my left eye became red and irritated while wearing my contacts. The next day I was relieved to get an afternoon appointment scheduled with my regular ophthalmologist in Bourbonnais, IL. By the time I’d gotten to the office my eye socket had become very painful and extremely sensitive to light and I was starting to lose my sight in that eye. There, Dr. Franklin diagnosed me with a corneal ulcer requiring immediate specialized treatment. He contacted Dr. Kisla, at Silver Cross Hospital, known for his expertise in corneal care. Without immediate proper treatment I could have had a scar on my retina that would have ruined my sight forever. Dr. Timothy Kisla, as busy as he is, let me see him that day (and many days thereafter) and put me on oral antibiotics and fortified eye drops that I had to start immediately, giving them to myself round the clock and spreading out the doses gradually as the weeks passed. I saw Dr. Kisla 3 times a week for almost 2 months. (Thanks to my boyfriend for driving me all those days.) Dr Kisla never gave upon me. I look back now and I can’t believe how lucky I am to be fully cured. I could have lost my sight in that eye and potentially the eye itself. I feel so much gratitude to Dr.Kisla for his knowledge and care. He’s a wonderful doctor as well as a wonderful, caring person! Dr. Kisla recently performed cataract and a lens implant procedure in my left eye. He previously did the same 3 yrs ago on my other eye. The results from both procedures have been great. I opted for a special lens this last time which can be best described as now seeing "high definition on steroids." Dr. Kisla's expertise, friendliness, and professionalism have been consistent with each visit. I would recommend Dr. Kisla to anyone in search of an opthamologist. Dr. Kisla saw me on Christmas eve even though the office was closed and he was so nice to me. Gave me a good exam and relieved my fears. He is a very caring Dr. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Dr Kisla is a wonderful doctor, and his staff is so friendly. I would recommend him highly.

Dr Kisla is a gem. He identified me as being at risk and ever since he has been testing my eyes more frenquently. I greatly appreciate all he has done for me. I am very happy for his help & concern.

I have already recommended Dr. Kisla to family members who are his patients. I will continue to do so.

Dr. Kisla performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. Since I have astigmatism, he inserted a special lens for my condition. I now have 20/20 vision and use reading glasses. He is presently treating my dry eyes. The staff efficient and friendly. Mrs Thompson

Dr. Kisla did my cataract surgeries and did a wonderful job. He is a very gooddoctor and you would be wise to see him for any eye problems.

Dr. Kisla did an excellent job in hiring his staff. All are very professional and friendly. My wife and I have both had cataract surgery in both eyes by Dr. Kisla and were very satisfied with him and his staff. Would definitely recommend him.

Never again!! This fellow has a huge ego. I spent 3/1/2 hours waiting....REALY...never saw him(other than him walking past exam room. Do yourself a favor. Forget this guy!!!
