My son had an ACL surgery by Dr. TImothy Hunkala, he was excellent. Yesars later he had to have surgery on meniscus and they asked him after the surgery who did him ACL, cause it was perfect.

Dr. Honkala did a knee replacement for me a couple years ago and I waited to give a review to see how it holds up! Well, I couldn't be happier! Knee has never hurt since and I have more mobility in it than my other knee! Only advice I can give is to work hard doing your therapy! It will be painful, but the results are worth it! I could not be any happier with this Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Timothy Honkala. I needed both my right and left hip replaced due to arthritis. I interviewed three surgeons prior to finding him, as I was seeking the least medically invasive procedure and I chose him. He does NOT cut into the muscle unless it’s absolutely necessary. The recovery time for each surgery has been outstanding, approximately 4-6 weeks, at least in my case. From beginning to end, within a one year time span, he has been nothing but kind, caring, compassionate and he genuinely cares for his patients. His skills are superior and I would trust him implicitly to perform ANY orthopedic surgery that I needed. I’m very grateful that I found him! Thank you for taking such great care of me! ???? Had both knees replaced and would highly recommend it if necessary

7 0ut of 5 Stars. Outstanding in every way. I've seen many doctors over the years and my experience was one of, if not the best, I've ever had. If you have knee issues, I STRONGLY Recommend you see Dr. Honkala !!

I waited quite some time to write this review in order to give an overall experience review from start: 2017 to finish: 2019. I was in a major accident that resulted in a crushed heel. This required surgery to give me any hope of walking normally again without severe pain. I saw multiple surgeons for differing opinions on what to do, and I chose to have Dr. Honkala perform the surgery. If you are contemplating his services have no fear. He and his staff are excellent at what they do. They are professional and I can say that I not only walk, I run. I have no pain. Go with Dr. Honkala. They do great work! He listened to your issues and give you the best and clearest information to help. He’s always takes his time to explain things and is not pushy. He absolutely the BEST !!!

So happy a friend of mine recommended Dr. Honkala for my knee replacement. Very, very pleased with my outcome, great not to have that pain any longer. Dr. Honkala is great at his job and it shows. The people that work in his office are all pleasant. I could not be more pleased. Thank you Dr. Honkala and his entire staff ! If he did not fix me up they might have had to put me down ! Lol

Dr. Honkala is an excellent surgeon and a doctor who cares about his patients. He operated on my arm in the late evening after spending a long day in the office. He performed emergency surgery to address multiple breaks and dislocation in my right arm and elbow. I recovered in 6 weeks and have total mobility of the arm. He performed two hip replacement surgeries, right and left hips, and my range of motion, strength, and gait are remarkable.

Dr Honkala. You need not look further to find the the dry best orthopedic surgeon. I have had ankle fusion, hip replacement and my wife has had both of her knees replaced. Replacement was the best decision we ever made. Dr. Honkala was the best decision we made to do those surgeries. Highly recommend.
