Timothy A Harbst

I am a chronic pain patient who was refered to Dr. Harbst to discuss pain medications. I have exhausted all non-narcotic approaches to treating my foot pain. I was previously on opioid medications for 9 years without incident but decided to try to go without it 3 years ago. Now I am at a point where I can't stand for more than a minute or two and can only walk 100 feet before i have to get off my feet due to pain. He never examined me or reviewed the recent foot x-rays that were available to me. He focused on my back pain, that I told him I was managing with Chiropractic adjustments and accumpuncture. He tried to refer me to PT to learn stretching exercises. He would not offer any solution for my feet. He refused to discuss pain medications at all. He never even asked me about my pain story. He is a terrible physician. I doubt he actually treats anyone.

I was hit by a car 9 months ago having pain in back, neck, shoulders, front left chest wall, right foot possible nerve damage. He did not examine anything except take his thing and hit my knees and elbows. Then said try myofascial therapy and prescribed gabapentin. I asked if that did not work do I come back to him and he said no. He was not friendly at all. I did not receive any answers. I had high hopes, very disappointing and he did not even examine me. I definitely will not recommend him.
