Dr. Timothy Francis Flood

This office holds an archaic and now unethical practice of not allowing parents to be present during the visit. Prior to her appointment Evvy loved going to the dentist to get her “teeth tickled.” After her appointment she limped on her right leg for 2 days, had nightmares for a week, and panics when we talk about what to do regarding the giant hole that was left in her tooth since Dr. Flood was unable to complete her filling after traumatizing her. When asked, our very verbal 3 year old told us that no one explained what they were doing and just started putting things in her mouth. When asked if there was anything good about the experience she replied, “watching the movie before they started hurting me.” Dr. Flood might be ok for older children, but I would not recommend this office for young kids.

I trusted Dr. Flood from the moment I met him. And, I met him under horrible circumstances. My son, who is 9 years old with severe Autism Spectrum Disorder, had a tooth ache. It was an emergency situation. Dr. Flood and his team got him through it relatively unscathed. It was a huge relief for me.

Wonderful dentist for kids! My son has special needs that make him non verbal and make brushing his teeth a major fight. Because of this my son needed some major dental work. Dr. Flood never made me feel ashamed that my son had cavities. He was very understanding of the struggles that we have just to brush our sons teeth every night. Dr. Flood was compassionate and patient as my son fought him while he tried to do the exam. I highly recommend Dr. Flood!
