Horrible doctor. Mad me a half inch longer and caused nerve damage

Terrible doctor please don't waste your time. This doctor does not keep his word and does not get things done in a timely manner all while his patient is in pain. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone

I had both of my knees replaced by Dr. Doerr and the replacements are great with a lot less pain than before replacement. The care after replacement has been very good.

Dr. Doerr and Julie were so helpful! I had a knee surgery which went really well. I was surprised a few days afterwards to get a personal phone call from Dr. Doerr to see how I was doing. Everyone in their office was friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend him for your orthopedic needs.

Dr. Doerr has given me back my life as far as I am concerned. Before my two total knee surgery which Dr. Doerr preformed I couldn't walk even a half block without crying from the pain. Now, I walk 3 miles a day, have over 30 pounds and feel like have an actual life to live. Thank you Dr. Doerr, you are a Good send.

I wish I could rate higher, I am so pleased with the level of personal care Dr Doerr and Julie gave me both before and after my surgery. I have never had my actual surgeon call me to check on me multiple times. I was living with such excruciating pain before i called. The pre-operation care was phenomenal and i was up and walking hours after surgery without pain. This is what medical care should be in our country. I trust this man and his staff with my family after the care they gave me. I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend him to anyone who needs help, they will take the best care of you and will treat you like family.

My son had a nagging pain in his heel and Dr. Doerr was amazing in his help with it. He is a great doctor that clearly takes interest in his patient's well being and truly cares about getting them to good health. We felt that he treated us like he would any member of his own family. Dr. Doerr did my knee replacement - he is AMAZING!! His number one priority is his patient and their successful recovery. Every decision he makes is in the best interest of his patient. I need to have my other knee replaced - Dr. Doerr is the only doctor I would trust to do it! He and his assistant Julie are an awesome team!!

Once it was determined that I had a ruptured disk, Dr. Doerr and his assistant Julie worked to gain approval for an MRI and subsequent surgery. I was in severe pain and with their help my surgery was scheduled and completed quickly. I have experienced significant weekly improvement during the post operative 6 weeks period and expect full recovery shortly.

I had knee replacement surgery last Thanksgiving. My golf game had suffered as I wasn't able to swing without pain. I'm back playing golf and my scores have dropped and even came in 1st place in a tournament last weekend. Dr. Doerr and Julie are great.

His nurse Julie is awesome and took care of every detail so I never worried about paperwork or any detail left undone. I am grateful for the care I have received. It has been a year since my knee surgery with Dr. Doerr and I am very happy with my results. Dr. Doerr is a no-nonsense, efficient physician. I would highly recommend him. He does not waste time with chit-chat unless you have a question concerning your knee and then he explains it very well.

Very pleased overall with back surgery. One thing caught me by surprise, tightness in back about 4 weeks after surgery. After calling them, I learned that is normal. Would have been nice to know before it happened, I thought I damaged my back again. Julie is the best. Hospital stay was excellent. Dr. Doerr did a great job. Would recommend him and his staff.

An absolute nightmare! Never allowed in decision making process, unanswered questions by both Doerr & Julie. Ignored pleas for help, not medication but rather repair a “botched” surgery. Post op appointments cancelled and/or rescheduled for other personal favor surgeries. His clinical analysis are far from thorough, no compassion as a doctor nor human being. Nothing but dollar signs in their eyes!

Dr. Doerr has been our family surgeon for over 10 years if not for him I would not be able function he has replaced my knee, worked on my ankle and fusion on back. now he has more than just replaced my husbands knee to much to go into. I really do refer anyone needing orthopedic care to him in my book he is the best. as long as I am alive I will be recommending Dr. Doerr to everyone I know he really is the best. Now seeing my dad.

I went in for a check up on my knees. He is very through and friendly and really cares about his patients I like the fact that he wants thing done a certain way for our safety and to keep from getting infections after surgery it shows that he cares about his patients. Dr Doerr also will try to fix your problem first without surgery before doing surgery first I appreciate that about him he is a good listener plus discusses what and how he is going to fix your ailment. Doctor Doerr quickly determined I had torn cartilage in my knee. I only waited 6 days for the surgery. He called me a week after the surgery to find out how I was mending. He was careful to ask questions about my recovery symptoms to make certain nothing was wrong. Two weeks after the surgery, I went to his office to have the stitches removed. He gave my knee and leg a careful examination to make certain there was no loss in muscle strength. He is a wonderful surgeon. Allen L. Maddox

I recently had back surgery. Dr. Doerr is a fantastic surgeon. He was not in a rush to do surgery. But when it became necessary, the surgery was performed flawlessly. Dr Doerr has been my doctor for many years.He is a 5 star doctor in his field, I would recommend him for any orthopedic treatment you may need.I also need to complement his nurse Julie she also a 5 star nurse & you get better service than what you would get from this team of professionals, thanks to you all.????????????????????????

I had surgery with him 18 year's ago and he paralyzed me from the waist down. He did second surgery and i could walk again. Pain and stumble never stopped. Just haf an MRI only to discover he didn't do the right surgery either time. I still have a bulging disk. He was doing a dissecting. Would never send anyone to him.

Dr. Doerr has successfully and professionally completed 4 of my surgeries. I am impressed with the doctor's thoroughness in repairing extreme tears in rotator cuffs for both right and left shoulders, just in time, before they were unrepairable. I always highly recommend Dr Doerr, and Julie is my favorite part of seeing Dr. Doerr! She offers great support in the process of healing!

I recently had a right lumbar- laminectomy, foraminectaomy and partial discectomy on 6/14/2017 at Treasure Valley Hospital. I had been experiencing nerve pain in the right side of my body for over three months after my MRI and meeting with Dr. Doerr one time we scheduled the surgery. The staff at Treasure Valley was so kind and helping through this process. Dr. Doerr personally called me five days post surgery to check on me. Not the nurse, the Dr. called me.

Dr. Doerr is an excellent surgeon who gave me my life back after a previously failed back surgery. His assistant Julie is kind, helpful and personable. Dr. Doerr has performed several orthopedic procedures on me, 4+, and all have turned out excellent. I find Dr. Doerr to be very knowledgeable in all areas that he performs procedures, and if he has doubts he does the professional thing and seeks advice from his colleges and is very willing to let you obtain a second opinion. Dr. Doerr is an intelligent surgeon who knew immediately after a quick survey of my knee that I had torn my ACL. I appreciate his knowledge of my injury; however, he wasn't the most personable of doctors and I often felt that he was a rushed in seeing me and sometimes anxious to move on to his next task.

I was in a car accident in 2012. Dr Doerr was the surgeon on duty when I was brought in to emergency. This man made it possible for me to walk again. He followed up for two years after the surgery was performed. As far as I'm concerned, he is excellent and I would recommend him 100%.

I would recommend Dr. Doerr to everyone. He takes the time to listen what my complaints and will always take the time to explain what is wrong, what its going to take to repair and how long you should expect to have any issues. I enjoy his staff - they all are very personable and pleasant. I was in a concern that he found that I had De Quervain's tendonitis in my right wrist area. The surgery went very well and I could tell the difference within a few days. Thanks Dr. Doerr

Dr. Doerr has replaced my hip and repaired my shoulder, and monitored back issues. He was instrumental in discovering a serious non orthopedic issue and counseling me to get further evaluation. He is cautious in regards to potential infection and he teams up with excellent physical therapists.

Dr. Doerr and his staff are very considerate about their patients fears and took the time to not rush into surgery, which actually made me feel that he wasn't just out to making a buck, but was truly interested in what was best for me. As it turned out I still did need my back surgery, but he was very conservative and attentive, could not have asked for anything more, 90 days out from surgery on physical therapy and wearing my heals again. I have to take care of my body mechanics, that's on me.
