Dr. Timothy A Damron

Dr.Damron is very Professional, gentle and caring surgeon. Despite what is written below, he and his team are skillful and caring with high knowledge. Dr Damron gave me the time I need to explain and discuss my case. I’m very thankful to him.

Dr. Damron is very gentle, I came by ER referral and he answered all my questions and resolved all my concerns. I was suffering from multiple ortho issues and some of them was hard to be seen on routine tests. He ordered advanced test in the same day to save my time of traveling and walk me to the front desk himself to make sure that my follow-up appointments sat as we planned for. He is very careful about my health and did more than needed tests to make sure everything on the right track. If there is more than being very thankful to him, definitely I will do. Thank you Dr. Damron for everything.

Had a botched hip replacement. Went to him for a second opinion. He offered no reasonable explanation that my hip would not bend and told me to go back to my other surgeon in Syracuse. I had 2 other 'second' opinions in different cities plus a friend of family who is a hip ortho in the south. All the other 'second' opinions explained what was wrong and it was all MEASURABLE on CT exams. maybe he did not want to clean up the mess but he could have explained what was wrong.

Although I haven't seen Dr Damron in years he has operated many many times to remove osteocrondromas and would highly recommend him

This doctor is a disgrace to his profession!

Went to see him for my sons toe and sat for 2 hours for him to come in take a glance and say amputation. What a joke of a doctor. If i could give 0 stars i would. This was the worst most unfriendly experience we have had ever!

My father was referred to Dr. Damron and it was a horrific experience. The doctor did not so much as glance at my father’s chart before the appointment, but rather asked my father to explain his condition. My father did his best, but apparently his best was not good enough for Dr. Damron. The doctor chastised my father for leaving out details like tests and their results, even though my father had never even received results from these recent tests. Damron was arrogant, condescending, rude, and uncaring. He said, and I quote, “Well, you can either tell me everything or we can spend 30 minutes here while I look over your chart!” Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t that the job of a doctor? To be informed about their patients and said “charts?” I would not refer my worst enemy to this man. He seems to only be happy when he’s flexing his superiority complex. Shame on you, Dr. Damron! If we could give less stars we would. Went to dr damron for a second opinion on a bone tumor. he took one quick glance at it said "its been there for 8 years theres nothing we can do about it dont come back to me again for this" its like OK this is the first time we've gotten an MRI and the knee only started being a bother 2 months ago. very rude, wouldn't listen to anything we said and just rushed through the apt. never again will we go there. If we could give less stars we would. Worst bedside manner ever this practice leaves a lot to be desired in the customer service department

Made too many careless mistakes. Maybe a good orthopedic surgeon? Not sure but not recommended for soft tissue tumor surgery!!

Dr Damron has performed 3 surgeries on me, bilateral hip replacements(one hip at a time) and bilateral knee replacements(both at once). I got skiddish after 1st surgery, didn't want to do them 6 weeks apart but was forced to, I got severely ill. When it was time to do my knees he told me he was not going to be inconvenienced by my indecisiveness and they only way he would perform the surgery was if both were done at the same time. He shattered my femur and I ended up needing a lift to transfer.

Great surgeon but the most frustrating medical professional I have ever met in terms of consultations.

Dr. Damron is truly the best kind of Dr you want fighting for your cause. His demeanor is kind, intelligent and thorough. His professionalism is top notch. I was a patient for a hip surgery and from the moment I met him until the time.of surgery, I went from scared of the unknown to confident in the unknown. Everywhere I go, people ask who did the surgery, and every time I mention Dr Damrons name, I listen to the wonderful healing experiences of others. He is absolutely worth the wait!

Dr. Damron did a bi-lateral total knee replacement at Upstate University Hospital in 2009 or 2010. Time flies when you can walk without pain so I am unsure of the year. In my book, he walks on water. What is great is I can now walk comfortably on land. Thank-you Dr. Damron.

I recently saw Dr. Damron for soft tissue tumor. He is absolutely everything you wanted from a surgeon. Precise, confident and trustful. People who don't want to wait a little bit longer to see Dr. Damron, find somebody else. But I would wait what ever it takes to see him.
