Dr Cole is a great doctor with a very pleasant bedside manner. He repaired 2 hernias, inguinal and ambilical, and removed 2 lypomas. Pain from the procedures was minimal and lasted only a few days. A month later I am as good as new. I highly recommend Dr. Cole.

I had worst experience at this facility. They charged me my co-pay and then sent additional bill to a collection agency. The staff was not cooperative and were saying we collected part of the copay and it’s the responsibility of the patient to check how much they should pay. Worst thing is they want to schedule other appointment just because the insurance has changed. Even after requesting multiple times to just provide me the estimate for same treatment as there is new insurance. Looks like they don’t care what you are asking and ready to do anything till the new appointment is scheduled for the same thing. My sincere advice is to avoid going to this facility.

Dr. Cole performed an umbilical hernia repair surgery on my in Dec. 2018 and there is almost no visible scar and have never had any issues with it. He also performed a colonoscopy and was very thorough and detailed and detected and removed 2 tubular adenomas as well as noticed another minor issue. It left me feeling like he was meticulous and well trained. He has a way of making you feel confident and comfortable, and has great bedside manner.

I ended up in the ER with my gallbladder on 12/15/22. The hospital referred me to a surgeon that couldn't even talk to me until 1/6/23. That would have been fine, except I was still pretty sick when I got home from the ER. Called Dr. Cole's office (on the recommendation of someone at my GP's office). Called them and they were able to get me in with Dr. Cole's PA, who scheduled me for their next surgery day. When I called, the receptionist was so sweet and made sure I could be seen quickly. I didn't see Dr. Cole at that time because he was at a conference and I was so grateful that his PA could see me. I was impressed by his PA and his surgery scheduler. I met Dr. Cole the morning of my surgery at Texas Health @ Craig Ranch Surgery Center. He was very caring and explained everything. I also was so impressed by the staff at the surgery center. I have had several surgeries and I have never felt so well cared for during a surgery. From the front desk receptionist all the way through to my recovery nurse - I just can't say enough about them. Although I know they had several patients to care for at one time, I honestly felt like they truly cared about how I was feeling and and never felt forgotten or rushed. I highly recommend Dr. Cole, as well as his surgery center! Thank you so much!

Procedure went as he predicted. Couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Dr Cole and staff were awesome.

Dr Cole and his team are super fantastic. They all took the time to answer my many many questions, explained things (multiple times patiently), reassured me, and guided me through my surgery. No pain during surgery he said, and he delivered. I’m healing up well also. Such compassion and care. I never felt judged (big baby here and I’m 40) and I was freaking out over a “simple” procedure. Oh btw the anesthesia was crazy good. As i was being rolled into the operating room, I was feeling so good - I lacked no courage and felt no fear. And then I woke up in recovery with a very funny warm nurse. A heart felt sincere thank you. Dr Cole and his team are super fantastic. I do not have enough words and gratitude to say just how much I appreciate, Dr. Cole and his entire staff. I had been sick for over 4 months with zero end in sight. No doctors, images or blood work would explain what I was going through. In just one day of meeting, he had me set up for surgery the next day, and I am now, finally, out of pain. I had a unwanted inguinal and umbilical hernia. I interviewed two surgeons I refused the services of (let's face it this is Dallas Ft. Worth, medical providers advertise for us to select them for our care) met with his PA and that went well. Met with Dr. Cole. He did a quick exam and told he dispute being told I had three hernias I actually only had two. Instantly he proved his competency. He took time explaining to myself and my wife what was what, in a manner that was not speaking down or full of medical jargon. Dr. Cole insisted on a full work up, he did not do himself which told me this work up was not done for his personal income. He is the one and only physician I have ever heard say "first do no harm", which impressed myself. The day of surgery he and the PA both met with me before hand, and had a conversation with enough humor and confidence from Dr. Cole and his PA to set my mind at ease. Letting me and my wife know I was not just a lab project, but a complete human. After the surgery Dr. Cole met with my wife for the debrief of how things went and prognosses. He took her to a private room for this exchange of information, she was pleased with this as while she waited another surgeon came out and debrief another family in the middle of the waiting room, awkward situation for her and the other family. Dr. Timothy Cole was the surgeon that performed my gall bladder removal surgery. I had a gallstone in the neck of the duct leading to my gall bladder and it was causing me extreme pain. During the procedure, Dr. Cole stated that he was unable to remove my entire gallbladder so a small portion of it still remained. I called daily sometimes multi times a day for 2 weeks after the surgery to Dr. Coles office regarding the pain that I was experiencing. I could not lay down, sit or walk without being in pain. I couldn’t eat or drink and my symptoms hadn’t changed from before the surgery. Even after seeing him in office for a follow up, Dr. Cole and his office insisted my symptoms were not related to the surgery. I ended up in the emergency room and had to get 3 additional surgeries totaling over $70k in medical bills due to a bile leak which was caused by Dr. Cole’s neglect during my surgery and neglect when he would not address my pain and symptoms after the surgery.

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Cole as his PA for 3 years, until my husband and I made the move to Oklahoma City. When I was diagnosed with gallbladder issues, I knew I wanted Dr. Cole to be the surgeon to perform the procedure because I trust in him. Everything went smoothly fro pre-op, to the surgery, to post-op. I have 4 "teeny tiny" incisions and only took pain medications for 2-3 days. I am now two weeks post surgery and fully back to normal routine, eating, and working out. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Cole making me feel better and will continue to trust him for any of mine or my families general surgery needs.

Dr. Timothy Cole is a class act. He is extremely professional and a rare find. He is a surgeon who actually takes the time to listen to what you have to say, answer questions you have and explains in both medical and layman's terms so you can fully understand your diagnosis, plan, procedure and post-surgery recovery. He maintains a consistently calm demeanor to help ease any of your anxiety. Scheduling and follow up was easy with Dr. Cole and his office. Dr. Cole immediately and quickly diagnosed my inguinal hernia and we set up surgery for the following week. The surgery went well and I was given a 4-day nerve block (Exparel) which eliminated any pain post-surgery. Dr. Cole explained his findings and care instructions to my wife while I was in recovery. I am very glad I found Dr. Cole to take care of me.

I had hernia surgery in May 2018. The surgery was fine however was told by billing not to pay my balance till it was ran through my insurance. I waited 3 months to let it go through it's course. I then receive a bill from a collections agency. I have been calling the billing department for months to only receive voice mail. I have left many messages with no return call. I just want to pay my bill and am extremely angry I was sent to collections when I cant get a hold of anyone to pay. Please use another Dr as the office staff/billing department is horrible! On May 12,2017 my life changed forever. My gallbladder surgery that was supposed to be a day surgery resulted in 4 months of hospital and acute rehab stays. I had to learn how to walk again, lost my wonderful job (due to my lengthy absence from work), and had to go on disability. I use a walker now and cannot do the things I used to do.I was the caretaker for my husband and now we both need a caretaker due to this surgery. During the trip home and after I got home from surgery, I was screaming in pain and had to be rushed back to the hospital. They had to open the area and found remaining bile and bleeding. I ended up with sepsis and went into a coma for several days. The nurse told my sister I had a 50% chance of pulling through. Over a year later of physical therapy, and I thank Jesus Christ every day for allowing me to fulfill my purpose on earth. Dr. Cole told me sepsis will sometimes occur after surgery. Dr. Cole is a Christian man and I know he feels bad about what I have endured since my surgery in 2017. In a response to my post Dr. Cole refers to my disability as a “misunderstanding”. Dr. Cole was great! However after the minor in office procedure my arm has been swollen and bruised. I stopped back by the office a day or two later to show them the swelling and bruising affecting my whole arm. That's when the P.A. on duty told me(other staff said the same thing and i did not get to see a dr.) this is not a result of what we did. How can it not be a result of the procedure when my arm was not swollen, bruised, or throbbing with pain until afterwards? So to sum it up the dr. was great he did a good job they're just to quick to cover there butt, say its not a result of anything they did, and told me i need to go to my family dr. because in there exact words "its not a result of what we did" The after care and some of the staff were absolutely horrible and i did not appreciate them lying to my face! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Cole and his staff. I was so nervous about getting gallbladder surgery. Him and his staff made me feel so comfortable about the surgery. Not only that I had a vacation coming up and Dr. Cole got me in for surgery the very next day so I had time to recover and make it for my planned vacation that was scheduled for 5 days later. The hospital was wonderful. They all called to check up on me several times after the surgery as well as Dr. Coles office. Dr. Cole performed a Herniaropathy on my umbilical hernia in December of 2018. I never had any pain following the procedure and did not even get my pain med prescription filled. I took one ibuprofen after I got home from my surgery and needed nothing more! I was so impressed! His care is top notch along with his staff. They are personable as well as professional and I highly recommend him.

Was a life-saver in getting out my gangrenous gall bladder out in short order. Managed to do s with minimally invasive techniques. Recovery was a matter of a couple days. Good bedside manner (unusual in surgeons) and does a great job.

In my opinion, Dr. Cole is EVERYTHING a physician should be. I wish I could use Dr. Cole for every medical service needed, that’s how much I was impressed with his level of care. Dr. Cole was able to get me scheduled for surgery within 2 weeks from my initial appointment. He knew I had an important trip coming up he did everything he could to make sure I had time to heal before traveling.

I highly recommend Dr. Cole and his team. I was in for a hernia operation, the entire staff was friendly on my first visit. The surgery was the best a surgery could be given the circumstances. This was my second hernia. My first was with a different doctor in the DFW area and was NOT a great experience. Needless to say, I was looking for a better doctor and found that with Dr. Cole. Dr. Cole explained everything in detail and the surgery was much better than my prior surgery. Thank you!

I had Ingun. and umbilical hernia repair on March 03 -2017 performed by doctor Timothy B. Cole. D. Cole was my choice based on his excellent reviews and recommendation of his friend and my physician Dr. Sarver Wallace. That was one of the worst mistakes I have ever made. Work done by Dr Cole was terrible. Recovery period was 6 weeks and still was not able to get back to normal activities. As a reminder on that time I have long scar across my body. Still, 1 year after surgery I cannot perform medium physical activities without feeling pain in place of surgery. Please think twice before you choose your surgeon as it can be costly mistake. Do not fell (as I did) on nice and smooth selling pitch. I would never choose Dr. Timothy Cole again, even if he was only one in the state. Dr. Cole and his staff are excellent. I chose him because of his high ratings and was very pleased. He listens, cares, is responsive and and answers your questions. His staff is organized and welcoming.

If you have to have surgery, I couldn’t imagine a better experience. The entire staff was very professional, friendly, and fast. They took the time to answer any questions you might have.

Dr and staff were exceptionally accommodating. I was quite impressed with their taking time to answer questions and explain to my full understanding and satisfaction. I never felt rushed, which is unusual in today's med offices. Staff were friendly, thorough, professional and supportive.....from start to finish....ALL of them. Dr's work on me was excellent. I have NO complaints and will certainly look to use him and his staff again if possible and the need arises. Wish I'd found them years ago.

Had a mutineous gallbladderbon a business trip to California. Dr. Cole a d his staff got me in for an appointment the day after I returned from California and had me in surgery the following Monday morning. Can't say enough about Dr. Cole and his staff - great people that were all helpful and generous with their time. Definitely recommend.!

My wife recently had a umbilical hernia surgery repair done with Dr. Cole. He was an amazing doctor. He was very patient with us and explained the procedure very clearly. On the day of the surgery, he kept us posted on the progress. The post surgery visit was with a PA (not Dr. Cole) and the PA was helpful too. As far as medical treatment goes, I will give him a 5 star. However, overall, I am going with 3 stars because his finance and billing team sucks - no response for 2 weeks on escalation.

When I was admitted into Baylor Scott & White Hospital-Irving, I was so scared I wasn't going to make it, I had never experienced that much pain b4. When Dr. Cole came into my room he was immediately reassuring that he believed in God being THE GREATEST PHYSICIAN, which proved to me I was in great hands & could relax. When I was out of surgery Dr. Cole came to my room to see how I was doing, the difference was like night and day I told him. It was the first time in 2.5 years I had no ab pain.

Surgery went great in aug 2017 ,had a small issue 1-19-2018 due to some of the stitches did not dissolve which they fix on Friday. My issue is why are you charged for a office visit due to a complication from the surgery that was no cause of mine?

Dr. Cole really impressed me during my initial visit with him. He took the time to explain to me the different types of hernias and what type mine probable was. He explained the surgical procedure and set me as ease regarding it. On the day of the surgery he was very accommodating when I asked for photos and videos of the procedures so I could know what was done to me. The procedure itself was very quick and I was pain free within two days.

Dr. Cole and the whole staff, including the nurse and two PA's that I met with (Mary and Chrissy) were awesome.

Wonderful doctor! Office staff was extremely courteous and helpful. They made a surgery that I was nervous about a walk in the park. Incision sites healed beautifully. I will definitely return to Dr. Cole for any other issues.

Dr. Cole is an excellent surgeon. My surgery was to repair an umbilical hernia. I would highly recommend Dr. Cole. Also, my wife and I want thank his staff for their care before and after the surgery.

I have never had surgery prior to double hernia with Dr. Cole early last month. I was really uptight and had alot of questions! His staff spent so much time with me at my original appointment to explain the procedure and make me feel at ease. They were very flexible on when and where I had my surgery and left it all up to me. I would definitely recommend Dr. Cole and his staff to anyone with similar needs. I saw them last week for my checkup and the PA said everything looks really good.

I researched surgeons to go to for a possible previous hernia mesh repair issue. Dr. Cole looked like a very good choice. Only saw him once out of the 2 visits, they failed to call me after the CT scan, so I called a week later. The assistant said there wasn't a hernia (it had been repaired years before) and nothing they could do. I was very disappointed by the lack of concern for my condition, and follow up. Might be a good surgeon, I can't rate him on that part.

I recently had my gallbladder removed by Dr. Cole in Plano. I could not believe how painless the surgery and recovery was. I was driving 3 days later and never had any pain. Seeing him in his office for the first appointment I was very comfortable making the decision that he would do my surgery. .Super nice guy. I also work in the operating room with him sometimes and I already knew he was a very good technical surgeon! His office staff is excellent, very friendly. His PA Kayla is awesome.

I was diagnosed with an umbilical hernia and asked my PCP who he would recommend. He recommended Dr. Cole and I could not have been more pleased. My appointment with Dr. Cole was great and the surgery was flawless. It went exactly the way Dr. Cole said it would as I have had no complications and was able to resume normal activities just a few weeks after my surgery. My experience with Dr Cole was excellent. His staff is friendly and very competent. Dr Cole and his staff explained the procedure and what to expect.

Dr. Cole was incredible. He totally explained the procedure before the day of the procedure. Totally kept my husband informed and afterwards they gave me a call to make sure that I was doing well. At the follow-up everything was explained about their findings and answered any questions that I had. Was such a great experienced and I will definitely use him again.

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Cole to anyone needing a surgeon. He has operated on my wife and myself in the last year. I found Dr. Cole through healthgrades, and went to him based on the reviews here. I was pleasantly surprised to see he was as kind and helpful as the reviews made him out to be. Excellent bedside manners, I never felt rushed, and he took the time to explain the entire procedure, answer all my questions, and make sure I was taken care of. Dr. Cole was very personable, and I could tell he was genuinely concerned about my experience. I highly recommend him for anyone needing a surgeon!

Dr. Cole was excellent. He explained the procedure thoroughly and made me feel at ease. The surgery went well and my recovery was quick. I was very pleased with my surgical experience with Dr. Cole.

My normal physician recommended I speak to this surgeon about a hernia repair after I had a CTC scan. I supplied Dr. Cole with all info at no time cost to him. Waiting in lobby well past my scheduled appt. He took 10 mins. to explain the procedure and answer any questions before leaving the room. He charged $351.13 to my insurance company for his 1 hr of time. I would encourage anyone interested in a consultation to get his fees in writing as they won't work with you if you can't pay.

Dr. Cole and his staff were extremely informative and courteous. They took the time to fully explain the procedure and what I should expect post op. Further, a few days following my procedure, they called me to see how I was feeling. My post op recuperation period was exactly as they described and was fairly comfortable (under the circumstances). Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience with Dr. Cole and his great staff! I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Cole has superb bedside manner. Surgery went without a hitch. He did the procedure so well that I did not even need to take the pain medication that was prescribed to me.

Our 18 year old daughter had been ill for 6 months with stomach issues. We had gone to another Digestive doctor and had every test done and basically said it was in her head that was causing her issues. Dr. Cole took us seriously, listened to what we had been tested for and believed us. Long story short, she had her gallbladder removed and tests confirmed that is was the issue of her problems!
