Dr. Timothy Paul Bukowski

Brought my son this morning to our first consultation meeting with the Dr Bukowski. It was overall good. I will share more as we progress.

I would take at least half day off if you have visit in WakeMed Urology. tough luck if you are like us (working parents) We came 15 mins before as suggested in Mychart. Other patient who came after us got priority for same time slot. We were not told about the potential delay until we asked . We were told doc books 4 patients on same slot. He's a pediatric urologist, yet he got annoyed with a baby screaming and crying. Yes, he was trying to talk and couldn't over the noise, but this is his job. It should be expected that babies will cry when a stranger touches them, especially after waiting for the doctor for an hour past appointment time.

If I could give zero stars I would... The doctor seemed nice after my daughter's first visit. He put her on an antibiotic and wanted to have additional testing done. A week goes by I receive no calls to schedule dates for the testing so I called there facility which is completely impossible to get ahold of anyone. I left several messages and after a week they called and said they would call me back after setting up her testing dates and here we are now two more weeks have gone by nobody calls me back and I again have contacted and left several messages. I even had to take my daughter off her antibiotic because the appointment that was scheduled before we left the first one that was supposed to be the apt to go over results had passed and that's what I'm assuming she was suo either stay on the medicine or stop taking it but the bottle never mentioned for how long. Dr Bukowski is an excellent surgeon and took very good care of my daughter. We are grateful for his help.

Never was listened to. Hard to get an appointment and even reach his assistant. It takes at least 3 or4 calls each time. Needed a refill for my son who is being treated for over a year now and they sent a different dosage and type without a mention of anything. The pharmacist didn’t mention either. Great staff! Great doctor!

I recommend avoiding this entire office. Long wait to even check in while you have to stand in line. Rude staff when you can check in, sarcastic responses to questions, more waiting after check-in. Arrived 20 minutes before appt and wasn't seen until an hour after appt. Even my son said he felt that the doctor made up his mind without really listening to my son's problem. Never again.

Dr. Bukowski operated on my two year old son's inguinal hernia at Blue Ridge Surgery Center. The center was amazing and so was Dr. B. We were extremely nervous but everything went great and a year later his scar isn't even visible. He was great at grouting calm our fears and discuss options etc. It did take longer than I would have liked to get his surgery scheduled.
