Dr. Tim Paul Carlson

I almost hate to tell everyone about Dr Carlson because I am selfishly hoping he does not get too busy. He is very personable, knowledgeable, and cares about my health and always asks questions. Their office is very busy but they seem to handle it quite well.

Absolutely love this man! I have been with Dr. Carlson for over 17 years and would follow him anywhere . I moved 4 hours away and still will not change doctors that is how wonderful and caring and dedicated this man is to you and your health. His staff is also top notch. Dr. Carlson will go above and beyond to help find what your health situation in any way possible. I have never found a doctor as kind and caring.

Dr Carlson forced a stubborn Canadian to go to ER was The Right Choice, I went through the Emergency Room at Palms of Pasedena HCA started with Spider bite: Short of Breath, eventually ended up in ER, ICU and Cardiac wards, the most professional Doctor, ER and all DR Nursing staff absolutely wonderful nurses. Their kindness was appreciated, very compassionate and passionate, totally considerate and caring. Now recovering and so far so good thanks again. Great Communication before during and after as patient. Reports printed.

The office canceled my appointment and told me I'd need to find another dr.

It was a great experience. Dr. Carlson showed the utmost respect for his staff while promoting that a team effort is necessary for effective health care. Most importantly, he listened when I talked, he would pause for a moment and then gave responses that demonstrated his understanding of what I was dealing with, a lost art.

Dr. Carlson is very friendly and puts you at ease immediately.

I have gone to Dr Carlson for years and have recommended him to family and friends. He is caring, compassionate and goes the extra mile. (For example, calling me personally to respond to an email request for guidance.) I was recently disappointed with the scheduling department in his office, and when I shared my concerns, Dr Carlson was attentive and seemed to appreciate the candid input. Dr. Carlson indicated he has a plan for addressing the concerns, so I am confident the situation is back up to his exceptional standards.

I have been a patient of Dr. Carlson's for many years. The care and professionalism he has always shown has been a lifesaver for me. Recently I had occasion to consult with Dr. Carlson on a health issue I am having. I left a message for him to call me and he did, at 8:15 p.m., after he had seen his last patient for the day. He was still in the office and gave me some excellent advice and a specialist referral. He has always returned my calls and helped me with medical issues. I would recommend Dr. Carlson to anyone seeking a caring, capable physician. Great job!

I would leave a zero or half a star if I could. I set up a new patient visit with Dr. Carlson in early September for an October appointment in which the office cancelled my original visit and scheduled me later in the week after they told me that I could not be seen until mid November. This was after raising a rather big deal that my previous provider would not be utilizing my insurance anymore and a family member recommended Dr. Carlson. Now they called me the day before my rescheduled visit and stated that the appointment they booked for me was not approved and they will need to slide me back another month. They booked it! I guess only the doctor's time is important and only the doctor's needs are important. Then they offered another doctor to me, but they would not book it for me and asked me to call and setup everything again. Unreal! This is the problem with the medical provider industry. They put the burden on the patient to maintain a good relationship or establish a relationship. Whatever happened to the fact that we pay these fools salaries and that we are the customer . I would not recommend this office due to the fact that most likely you will just be another $$ in this doctors pocket and not a person he actually cares about.

The staff and Dr. Carlson are absolutely awesome. They get me in right away and take excellent care of me. Dr Carlson is the best Physician I have ever had, period! I highly recommend him!!!

Dr. Carlson has been taking care of my wife and myself for years. I love the guy! I have 100% trust in him. He listens and makes sure all your concerns are dealt with.

Dr. Tim was very concerned that I had been sick for so long and developed asthma while under the care of another doctor. He got me into a pulmonologist and an allergist right away, and followed up with phone call to make sure I was getting good care at the specialists. He's a rock star!

Such warm and friendly office staff. Would you like coffee or water? Tim is effective and efficient, taking care of first things first and providing timely follow up. As a newcomer to FL, I feel confident that the continuity of my care will be.... continuous. In other words, I miss my Docs from Pittsburgh. With Tim making sure I get the care that I need I feel comfortable and confident.

I love,love Dr.Carlson. He is actually interested in the " whole" me. Physical and Mental,he ALWAYS listens and acts accordingly. I have referred him to friends and will continue to do so.

Dr Tim has been my doctor for many years. I trust his diagnosis and recommendations on all my health care needs. He is also a very friendly guy. this is helpful when coming with issues that need care.

Dr Carlson is always up to date and covers all aspects of his patients ailments and/or complaints. On follow up visits he always asks if the earlier ailments are improving or if they need more attention. I would gladly recommend Dr. Carlson.

No wait time. Dr. Carlson does not rush you and spends time discussing your concerns. He explains things so you understand the medical aspects of your case. I travel from East Lake to see him because he is that good. His staff are as pleasant as can be and helpful.

Great doctor. Needed cortisone injection left knee. He administered it painlessly. Sports medicine experienced.

Dr Carlson is the most kind and caring doctor I have ever been to. He was always available to answer my questions and any other concerns when I was fighting colon cancer. He is a wonderful person and physician.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Carlson on December 20, 2019 and it was very pleasant. I was offered a cup of coffee upon signing in for the visit and was seen promptly by the nurse - within 3 minutes. Within 10 minutes I saw Dr. Carlson and we discussed a thorough review of my medical history and the questions pertaining to the scheduled visit. Very happy and pleased with the first visit and exposure to the practice.

Looked for years to find a good Doctor with much disappointment. Finally a friend recommended that I see his Dr., Tim Carlson. My frustrations were solved!

Dr Carlson has been my primary care physician for years. I followed him to Palms when he left Edward White. He is caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and energetic. Always a pleasure to go to his office. Feels more like a visit with an old friend than a medical. I have moved across the bay to Hillsborough County, but I continue to make the trip to Palms because I feel my care is the best, and worth the trip.

Dr. Carlson has been our family Dr for over 15 years. He is an advocate for seniors and their care. I am now 66 and will continue to change my Medicare plan in order to keep Dr Carlson as my primary physician. He cares about his patients and their Quality of Life. He will always take what time needed to make you feel comfortable.

Dr. Carlson really cares! I've been searching for a primary care physician for a long time. He put me at ease immediately, he knows his stuff! His assistant D was very caring helping me get over the jitters when seeing a Dr for the first time. I had a question about a medication and Dr. Carlson called me back that evening. The nurse who answered the phone also cared enough to be sure I got the answer. I have my Dr. finally. No long wait either.
