I had my tooth pulled yesterday and I am writing a positive review the very next day. You know what they say, actions speak louder than words and here I am. Nonetheless, I’m still going to do my best with the words for the sake of making this a good post. Dr. Mikesell is an excellent Dentist! He’s the best actually, everything a person would want from a dentist. I really appreciate the time he takes with each patient and his bed side manner if you will. I never feel like I’m being “sold” when I ask for his advice. He is friendly and even funny sometimes but most importantly of course he is thorough and clean with his work! I feel great after my extraction (and trust me I’ve had some bad ones elsewhere that’s took much longer to heal and I felt much more pain and needed more recovery time). I schedule my dental appointments with Dr. Mikesell around my time in Leeanau each year because the big city dentists where I live now don’t compare one bit. For the same procedure I saved about $35 dollars with Dr Mikesell which surprised me because I went it to it willing to pay more if need be for his superior work and trusted advice. A person remembers value long after price is forgotten. The pros at Mikesell bring the value. The hygienists and office staff are the best too. Most the same people have worked there over a decade and they are all professional and great at their roles. If you are looking to be swayed by a dentist review and they have the appointment time available, go here, it’s worth it and your teeth will thank you for it. I have been going here my whole life. Dr. Mikesell is so nice and the girls are really great too.

I have been going here with my family for over 12 years. I have nothing negative to say about the practice. All the equipment is up to date and the technicians are very kind and educated. I would/do recommend Dr. Mikesell's office!

Office was clean and the receptionist was friendly. My teeth felt so clean after my cleaning with Melissa and Dr. Mikesell answered all my questions. Great visit????
