From the moment of my first appointment I felt very well informed and at ease with what would happen before during and after my posterior neck fusion. Dr Wascher explained everything in great detail and did a great job explaining all the steps as did his entire staff. i was very pleased with my carpal tunnel surgery performed by dr. wascher. he interacted with me on all my concerns. he answered any questions i had completely.

I saw Dr. Wascher for a spinal tumor, after meeting with him, I knew he was the right surgeon for the job, his knowledge and expertise of the spine is unmatched, he explained the procedure in detail and after the initial appointment I felt I was definitely in the right hands. My insurance however would not cover the surgery at his specific hospital, Dr Wascher went to bat for me with my insurance company. Unfortunately my insurance company did not budge, so Dr Wascher ended up switching to a different hospital so my insurance would cover the surgery there. Dr Wascher could have passed me off to a different surgeon, but he stuck with me and for that I am forever grateful for his dedication and compassion. I called Dr Wascher's office on December 16, got an appointment on Deccember 19th and had surgery January 3rd. He went out of his way to take good care of me. He was very helpful in explaining what the problem was and how he would fix it. Follow up with him was awesome and I am now able to walk again. I had a bulging disc in L4 L5 on the right side which was affecting my right leg, thanks to Dr Wascher I now have full use of my right leg and recovery is going great. Dr. Wascher fixed my herniated disc. He was able to operate two weeks after consultation which is amazingly quick. I woke up from surgery and was able to straighten my leg with no pain for the first time in a very long time. I have my life back. His entire team is amazing. I can't say enough good things about them. If you are in pain, go see them!!

I have had issues with my back for years. I used other methods of treating my problems before seeing a neurologist. They only used x-rays to look at my back and in doing so missed what only an MRI could see. I had a condition that is found in 1 out of 65000 people. I came to see Dr.Greenberg, who showed my MRI to Dr.Wascher. I was told that I needed immediate emergency surgery or risk long term and possibly permanent nerve damage. Within hours of their findings I was in surgery and on my way to being free of pain. I would like to thank Dr.Wascher and the team at the Neuro-spine Center for their quick actions and the caring they have shown me after my surgery.

Dr Thomas Wascher is excellent for ER response, as well as his team, then follow up at Thedacare Neenah scheduled for emergency surgery but following extensive CT / Xray / MRI gave me the option to have a custom medical brace made to wear 12 weeks to have my body attempt to heal / grow back T-6 Burst Fracture. SUCCESS!!! It worked.. long haul but I am so impressed that a surgeon would suggest this and have surgery down the road the option if needed! So far so good! No more brace by Christmas from September 20th drop fall from a faulty step stool! WHAT A RELIEF! Healing to continue up to a year. Plus....I REALLY LIKE THE GUY! HA! Can’t say enough about the outstanding facility and staff! Dr. Wascher and his assistant David Bond are two of the finest around. No sugar coating, upfront honest and very trustworthy! I’m just so sorry I didn’t see them sooner! I highly recommend them both if you are seeking a Neurologist.

Obtained a second opinion from Dr Wascher for a recommended major neck surgery. He and his team quickly put me at ease, helped me make an informed decision without any pressure or scare tactics. He was able to demonstrate his vast experience and high success rate with records of actual cases. I am now three months out from the surgery...near full recovery. For over 6 months, my leg muscles were atrophied and I could barely walk. PT and epidural results over the past year were temporary. I had L4-L5 stabilized with surgery and was walking mile a day the first week and 3 miles and playing my trumpet within 2 weeks. After 3 weeks I could drive, return to work and walk 5 miles per day. It's been a little over 10 weeks and I rode my bike about 25 miles and walked 15 miles this pas weekend. Except for lifting and running I'm back to where I was before 2 years ago, when my symptoms began. Dr. Wascher and his staff explained the procedure thoroughly before surgery, called to follow up the next day and all of my questions were answered and concerns addressed during the 1, 5 and 10 week follow up appointments. I’ve never dealt with a medical team that took me or my back pain seriously. Years of we ER visits, chiropractors, physical therapy, medications and nothing helps. When researching a neurosurgeon I was most interested in his clinical outcomes, which are superb. I had an Anterior C4-C7 fusion in 2012 with excellent results. I had to have surgery again, this time a Posterior C2/3 laminectomy with C2-7 fusion. I went into surgery having complete confidence in Dr Waschers's skill, along with his trusted team. This has been my second lumbar back surgery. Dr Wascher did L3-L4 fusion 5 years ago and was instant relieve. The second surgery he had to do a discectomy and cleaning out of L4-L5. Once again instant relieve and nothing but top notch care! Every aspect from the office visits, diagnosis, procedure, care/nursing staff, to the facility where procedure is done. Dr Wascher performed fusion surgery on my C5 - C7, after months of numbness in my left arm that was making performing my job extremely difficult. The procedure went perfect, I had little to no pain after the procedure, the numbness is gone, and the scar on my neck is so slight, if you didn’t know it was there you wouldn’t see it. He and his staff are professional, efficient and very friendly. Great experience superb surgeon.

Dr. Wascher gave me my life back. My spine was causing me so much pain I couldn't walk farther than my mailbox. My spine from L3-L5 was a mess. Dr. Wascher and his wonderful team put me back together again. After a 3 hour, very complicated surgery I am doing all the things I used to do. I now walk 3 to 4 miles a day. Dr. Wascher was so thorough pre surgery to be prepared with everything and everyone to make this a success story. I am forever grateful for this man's gift.

Dr. Wascher performed surgery on my lower lumbar area to relieve sharp pain and numbness. Surgery was very successful, pain has been eliminated and each day the numbness is less. Had neck surgery done in July. Titanium spacer put between C5 & C6. Also C6 & C7. Cages were put around spacers, then crushed bone and bone marrow was injected into cages. A titanium plate was fastened to each vertabrae with two screws. No more pain and complete mobility. Simply amazing!

Had lower lumbar surgery done by Dr. Thomas Wascher on August 3, 2021. My 3 month follow appointment went well today and recovery has been exceptional. Considering I could hardly walk on January 3, 2021, to being able to walk 4+ miles today pain free, is a true blessing. Dr. Wascher and his staff are the best.

Dr. Wascher fused together vertebrate 4, 5, and 6 because of a pinched nerve in my neck which made my left arm feeling like I kept hitting my funny bone. After surgery all the tingling was gone. I highly recommend the NeuroSpine Center of Wisconsin! They are busy because they are SO GOOD. I personally had outstanding service from all staff members and had no issues scheduling! I began seeing Dr. Douglas Hendricks for cervical issues in early 2018. I had spinal cortisone injections in 2018, 2019, and 2 in 2021. The first 2 shots worked VERY well; the 2 in 2021 didn't relieve any pain. I would definitely see Dr. Hendricks again, but I really hope I don't need to! After massage, chiropractor, physical therapy, and the 2 shots in 2021, Dr. Hendricks said I was now a surgical candidate. Enter Dr. Thomas Wascher. His historical surgical outcomes are outstanding (including mine)! Immediately after surgery the issues I had in my left arm went away. I had to be in a cervical for 79 days from cervical fusion at 2 levels. My results so far are awsome! I would definitely see Dr. Wascher again for cervical issues (again I really hope I won't need to)!??

Awesome doctor. I was referred to him because of an abnormal scan. He took complete control at finding the issues. Worked with other specialists to make sure all bases were covered. I've lived in half a dozen states and he's one of the best I've ever had. I have sent two people to see him so far in the past 2 years.

I went to Dr Washer for a second opinion and my husband liked him so much we chose him to be my doctor right then and there. Dr. Wascher and his team performed a laminectomy for me 3 1/2 months ago. The recovery followed their predicted path such that previous pain in the hips and thighs is completely gone. Occasional pain in the back muscles usually resolves with brief rest. I have just now started to hit golf balls again.

I had a complex cervical neck issue that required correction at 5 levels. I did have a lot of confidence in Dr. Wascher's skill, experience and attention to detail. I felt that he was the best surgeon for my case, and I was very pleased with the outcome. He absolutely got it right.
