He has completely failed my husband's care for a squamous cell carcinoma. He had to be referred out to another doctor for major surgery requiring hospitalization after Dr. Van Meter seemed at a loss as to how to treat it, even asking my husband what he (Dr. Van Meter) should do. Really??? Dr. Van Meter didn't know what to do????!!!!! Do NOT go to him!!!!!
Super friendly and seemingly medically conservative. He put me very much at ease. I appreciated that he did not push unnecessary procedures. I'd highly recommend him!
Dr Van Meter has been the ultimate dedicated, talented and kind professional doctor that I have been seeing annually for over 15 years. He has removed my basal cell cancer, precancer cells and skin tags and a large mole on my daughter's back with 100% success. I am completely satisfied and will continue my annual exams with Dr. Van Meter. He also is a surfer like me so we can relate on more than one level.
My husband and I have seen this wonderful doctor for nearly 30 years and look forward to our derm appointments because he is a kind and good person and excellent skin doctor.
