Dr. Thomas A Rockoff

First time i got my infusión for iron it helper me alot he explained thoroughly what he was ,doing now,I'm anemic all my b12,6 ect,d,iron,all is low he's checking, my colonoscopy first before the infusion.

Completely clueless and arrogant. Doesn't know how to talk to patients. Should not be in practice

Finally had a procedure done after trying to schedule it for two months. Lost paperwork, numerous phone calls not returned. Tested for covid, never told the results. Finally had the procedure on May 29 which went well although a few hours late. Dr. stated he'd call my with results of biopsy within several days. I've called several times no response. Dr. Rockoff took amazing care of me. He has a wonderful bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable. I had my colonoscopy done at waterbury surgery center and it was a great experience. Staff was caring and very professional. I highly recommend him!

Arrogant, doesn't listen, put my family member's life in danger by not catching a bleeding ulcer, resulting in an ER visit. Every doctor here including the PA's are incompetent. Do they even look at the medical chart from the last visit? Seriously questioning how any of them have not had their license revoked yet. BEWARE. Do not go here, keep yourself and your family safe.

He only sees $$. I have visited with this doctor several times, and sadly it is always the most expensive procedure that he wants to do first. Results are always the same - no problem. However, he has stated I have a "crohn's like" disease. OK, so what do we do? No advice, just watch what you eat. Last I saw him, I had dropped 30+ pounds, unexpectedly, for no reason - and it's a concern given losing that weight was not planned and has brought on more issues. This doctor has no care or concern for his patients. He actually yelled at me - an adult yelling at another adult because I referred to his comment of "crohn's like" disease. Find a doctor that cares about you as a patient.

Years of suffering from medical conditions, and this “dr.” doesn’t explain anything ever and doesn’t tell you what’s wrong and how to fix it. Takes zero notes for medical records, has no bedside manner, doesn’t explain what he finds if something’s wrong, is “always” right. He’s arrogant thick headed and never listens to his patients. If you really want to begin taking steps to getting healthy, don’t see him!!!

DO NOT go to dr rockoff!!! I went to him for over ten years, had three colonoscopys and was told I had IBSD. was put on a med for that long and it never worked! I eventually found that the med should NEVER been given for more than three months if it didnt work! tnen he put me on a double dose of a med for GERD, and I got tardive dyskensia form it, which lasted for about eight months and needed a CT scan of my head. I finally was recommended to Digestive Disease in Waterbury and my first visit was told that I NEVER had IBSD, it was in my tests, was put on a new med and was better guickly! I went through HELL while seeing dr Rockoff. he is NOT a good GI md, look around for a better GI md! DO NOT go to dr rockoff!!! Here for a colonoscopy and sitting waiting almost 2 hours past my appointment!!! Not professional at all. I was informed that Dr. Rockoff was running behind by 2 patients... and you can’t walk out and do it another day because who wants to do this again? What an uncaring doctor!!! It’s unprofessional and having people who have not eaten in days in preparation for this exam, wait hours over their original appointment time is harsh. Doctors charge for every minute of their time and if a patient is late, you are charged a cancellation fee. How much should patients charge doctors for their disregard of a patient’s time? Awesome Staff. Dr Rockoff Is A Terrific Easy Going Doctor. I was in and out for my colonoscopy. No issues.

He did endoscopic procedure satisfactorily but he lacks follow-ups and concern patient's welfare. I had a bleeding gastric ulcer requiring hospital admission and intravenous fluids, he never showed up and worse of all, he discharged me from the hospital and had his office staff call me to set up an appointment for consultation and schedule for endoscopy. Since it was an acute bleeding and I was already place on NPO from midnight, he should have done the endoscopy before discharging me.

Dr Rockoff and staff were incredible. First time for a colonoscopy and they put all my fears to rest. Facility was clean and well organized. I will recommend this group to anyone that needs a colonoscopy and such.
