Dr. Rives has been my physician for 20 years. He is a former flight surgeon and has considerable experience in emergency medicine. He has a warm and friendly personality, is highly intelligent yet very down to earth, is an incredibly excellent listener, takes time to understand and explain things clearly. His medical knowledge is encyclopedic. He is very well known and respected among specialists. Dr. Rives volunteers at clinics for people who can’t afford yet need proper care. The man has a heart, is a gentleman, community leader and a great dad. I’ve lived in big cities where well known medical schools were located. So I’ve always had fantastic doctors, but none better than Dr. Rives.
Excellent Experience! The doctor is very caring and understanding and you never feel rushed. Listens carefully to what you have to say. Staff is awesome as well. Never any problem with getting appointments quickly and they are so friendly and caring.

Dr. Rives is caring, kind, listens to your concerns and takes them seriously. Sometimes, you have to be strong and say what you mean, so that he is better able to understand your issue. Once he understands what the issue is that you're facing, he doesn't stop trying to find a solution.
