Dr. Thomas E Rench

I have never had an experience like this with a doctor. He was rude dismissive and sent me home after one minute and forty two seconds of complete conversation beginning to end. I was not asking for pain meds or any medication. I had a post op incision that opened and was simply concerned bc of pain and vomiting that it might be infected. He told me to put a band aid on it and call my doctor. The nursing staff was wonderful even the security guard was amazing, he brought me a bag to vomit in while I was waiting for my daughter. Turns out that it was not fine. This doctor is going to get someone killed with his dismissive arrogance.

Doctor spent all of 25 seconds with me in the ER performing a back and neck exam without having me remove my winter coat or clothing. No tests performed at all....This is typical of the level of care at both Akron hospitals....APATHETIC!!!
