Dr. Thomas Meola JR.

I've been a patient of Dr. Meola for more than 10 years. He moved to a new practice and the office staff is very very slow to return calls. Frustrating. They don't CARE! I call and have to leave a voicemail and then they don't return the calls. EVEN THOUGH I LIKE DR. MEOLA, I HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR WHO'S OFFICE IS MORE RESPONSIBLE.

Dr Meola is knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. I’d give him 5 stars. Unfortunately the office isn’t great. The front desk staff were quite pleasant but gave me blank stares when it came to insurance questions and wouldn’t really offer any help apart from offering me an envelope to mail in my invoice. The doctor was running 40 min behind and this was at 10 am. That isn’t so unusual. I am paying out of pocket upfront and had to wait another 15 for them to get the bill ready. I’ve been here for over an hour now for an 8 Min appointment. I don’t think they are equipped for out of network patients. I hope his office can find more knowledgeable and helpful staff! Great Dr - I've been going to him for years. I'm writing this review because Dr. Meola recently went above and beyond. While providing the exam he noticed my right toe was bandaged and asked what happened. When he learned about the problem I was having with my nail he sat down, grabbed a clipper, and helped to fix it. From Dermatologist to Podiatrist, this guy can do it all. He's a good man.

Dr Meola has treated myself and several other family members for more than a decade. His knowledge and kindness are without equal. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone

As a patient of MHMC for more than five years, I naturally trusted them with my care when returning from Costa Rica I feared being infected by bed bugs. After being treated by my primary doctor, she suggested that I speak with my dermatologist who unfortunately had just left or was about to leave the office.
