Mr. Thomas Stuart Meloy

Best pain doctor I have had since the wreck. Used him for years till I moved. Have not yet found relief since leaving. He always explained things thoroughly. He would also get me into his office in a very short time frame if needed.

I have had the pleasure of being a patient of Dr. Meloy . He is very attentive and always requested and listened to my concerns. He is very empathetic to my pain issues and had never requested or require any changes in treatment knowing that my treatment was working well for me. I highly recommend Dr. Meloy for any pain mgmt issues you may have.

I have been a patient since 2011. He is quiet and reserved, but pleasant. He has some good stories if you can get him to open up. It took about 3 years for me to feel "connected" as a patient. He is good at procedures such as injections. He doesn't say a whole lot, but will answer questions.

I had no doubt that he knew what he was doing and I felt safe with his work. Initially I thought he might have bad bedside manners, but after he recognized that we had not met, he could not have been more friendly. He explained everything and advised me as he was proceeding. I like him as a doctor and he spent an appropriate amount of time with me. Don't believe all the ratings. Each one of us are different.

My reason is ONLY because I don't feel that in his specialty, he doesn't have the best bedside manner. I've thought about this answer quite extensively because I'm sure that his first impression of me wasn't the best either (I was in an extreme amount of pain, and I'm aware of my abrasiveness when at my highest level of pain), so I'm NOT judging him on first impressions I'm judging him based on how I feel to date. He's too clinical and not compassionate enough. He's fine as a person.
