Dr. Thomas Jan Meeks

I had liposuction on my flank area last Thursday, Oct 7th. Dr. Meeks and the staff members in Poulsbo were wonderful. I Felt very safe and cared for. Dr. Mike Johnson was my anesthesiologist. Even though it's so early in my recovery, I can tell that Dr Meeks did an excellent job. A shout out to a very professional team of people. Thank you

Only plastic surgeon I will ever see or recommend to any family or friends. Dr. Meeks and his office staff are amazing. They all take the time to make you feel well cared for and all questions answered. During my appt Dr. Meeks and his nurse were very professional and made me feel comfortable at all times. Can’t thank them all enough for how amazing they all are.

Dr Meeks was kind, thorough, and thoughtful. I felt confident making an informed decision on my care. Janey is amazing and definitely put me at ease prior to meeting Dr Meeks. Scheduling was easy, and communication was great. I highly recommend. Thank you, Dr Meeks. Very grateful.

One of my worst experiences ever. Dr Meeks has no interest in womens health. Treated me as though I was irrelevant and told me to "Smile" as he photographed my breasts "it increases your odds of approval" ie insurance coverage. I went in to discuss removal of a mass and he had no interest in that, submitted an insurance claim that I didn't understand and I left there feeling violated. Not recommended for any other woman to feel this way. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the Washington Medical Commission to move forward.

I has a lumpectomy and radiation that left me with one larger breast. I went to Dr Meeks to perform a breast reduction on both breasts. The goal was to have breasts that matched. At the follow-up to surgery I mentioned that one breast areole was higher than the other (several inches higher). Dr Meeks said I was being too picky. I ended up going to another surgeon who told me he should never have done surgery on the radiated breast. I look in the mirror and see the mismatched breasts every day.

Being diagnosed with cancer and having a bi-lateral mastectomy is scary enough without worrying about what you will look like after surgery. Dr. Meeks did a beautiful job on my reconstruction and I highly recommend him. Not only is he a skilled surgeon, but he and his staff were reassuring and understanding of all my questions and concerns. I feel so blessed to have had him as my surgeon.

This doctor is great! I had a breast reduction done recently and I couldn't have asked for better results. He's put my mind at ease on operation day as I was extremely nervous. He's great with questions and extremely confident. His staff in the office as well as hospital are all great!
