One of the best eye surgeons and all around nicest man you'll ever meet !

I recently had cataract surgery with Dr McCauley and he did an amazing job. After over 50 years of poor vision I can now see clearly. His staff was friendly and extremely competent and professional. The conditions in his operating facility were clean and his supporting cast of nurses during the procedure were highly trained and followed all medical protocols. Please understand my one star which should be negative a million stars is only for one person there, her name is Iris and she’s an optometrist. Everyone else was so very nice and super polite!!! I told her right off the bat that having my eyes dilated was a big fear of mine (it comes from a legit reason for me). Instead of being reassuring to me she was rude and demeaned me. She stated that I was foolish and in the same statement stated it could worsen current conditions I was having, doesn’t seem foolish to me. Her behavior made me not trust her so I refused she continued to tell me that I’ll die of eye cancer for not letting her do her job. She made me sign a nasty note in my chart that she had scribbled down not even in a real spot for notes because she said no one would believe her that I refused because it was just crazy. As she went to get a different lens I heard her complaining about me and stating she couldn’t take anymore non sense and that she was at her end. She was absolutely awful and rude and I was almost in tears. Whether or not she understands my fear it comes from a real place and she has not been through what I have or what I was going through. She made me feel awful and she behaved like a snobby uneducated self righteous teenager with no manners or respect for fellow people. This is a long-overdue review of a great doctor and wonderful person I have known for many years!

Dr McCauley is an excellent Ophthalmologist, he always explains everything so you understand it and he seems to genuinely care for his patients. The office staff is very friendly. Bit of a wait on most days, but absolutely worth the wait!!!

I was a super high risk patient and came out of surgery with 100 % success, it's been one year this (Novemeber 2016) week. I forever will associate Dr. McCauley and the entire practice with Thanksgiving. Dr. McCauley gave me his personal cell phone number in the event that I needed him. He is the best.

Technician did all the examination. Doctor spent no more than 2mins with patient. Eye drops which were unnecessary worsened tooth decay.

I've seen Dr McCauley for many years and he is a great person and Doctor. He's friendly, highly experienced and a doc you can be comfortable with at al times. You are in good hands! The only downside to the office is wait time if you book for an afternoon; so I aim for morning appointments. To me it's worth the wait, just as going to a restaurant with no wait means the food is so-so. This doc gets a thumbs up!!

Excellent care. Atmosphere in office is relaxed and professional making appointments less stressful.
