This is my second time having the privilege of having, Dr. Loftus and his staff treating me. I feel safe and well informed about my needs. My Spine seems to be getting worse. Looks like two surgeries are in my future. As a Veteran I know many are concerned about out side treatments other than VA's. Here to tell y'all I get the best. Great full they are in the Austin area. Large Texas Kudos. Val. Since this Review I’ve had two falls. One in shower and other on concrete. Ended up with Fracture of L-2 for sure. Had surgery to release pressure off of nerve bundle from said Fracture. Was so amazed with support of all the Folks at Dr. Loftus office. I am still getting care and have another surgery scheduled for 17 April. On r side near hip area. 3 screws and 45 min in surgery. Not scared one bit. Thanks Y’all Val

Dr. Loftus is very kind. He just couldn’t help my back , I let it go to long. But would back to him if I have another problem with back . 5 stars.

Dr. Loftus listened carefully and explained my back problem in a way that I completely understood.

Dr Loftus recently performed spinal surgery on me. My neuropathy and weakness in my feet and legs has resolved. He is so patient, caring and informative in his interactions with patients, and he is highly skilled in the procedures he performs. I am 100% satisfied with my progress and thank him for his role in restoring my ability to walk without falling. As a bonus, his office staff are very friendly, caring and helpful

Do research before going to this practice. Apparently, whatever the office manager says is gold. Dr. Loftus is good. However, the office manager, Stacy, said that only she decides what messages get to the clinical staff. She also said that she deals with all complaints. I was told that when I told her that I wanted to make a complaint about her. I called to ask if I could pay partial payment and pay rest before surgery and she said “Absolutely not” and canceled my pre-op appointment. This reflects on Dr. Loftus and Michelle Gregory. For that reason, I say go somewhere else.

Nice, clean professional office and the doctors are great.

Everyone at the office was friendly and efficient. It made me feel confident in my decision to go there and entrust them with my care.

Dr. Loftus performed my surgery, fusing C-3, 4, 5, and 6. He did a terrific job. Communicating with him is both effective and efficient, as well.

Doc is simply an awesome doctor, surgeon 2016 he did a procedure on me that save my lively hood and quality of life. Simply Awesome and his crew too very professional.

Dr. Loftus, was a blessing from above! I could have not asked for a better surgeon. His continuous genuine care throughout was priceless. He’s also very personable and friendly, which always helps. His counterparts were also very experienced and professional. Lastly, staff was also proficient and friendly. Highly recommend to others!

Because Dr. Loftus uses proprietary hardware for lower back fusions I lost 2 years of my life trying to figure out what he did and why I was in pain all the time, the hardware was too small and it never fused. I have multiple MRI’s and CT’s before and after that prove it was absolutely his error. Ask around, a lot of doctors and nurses know his reputation and it’s not good.

Dr Loftus and his staff are very caring and dedicated to patient care Excellent listening skills and explanation of procedures, never feel rushed, true professionals.

Dr Loftus always has a smile. He makes you feel very comfortable. He does not rush you at all. If you have questions, he will stay until he has answered all of them. I hope I never see him again. My back surgery was a success.

Dr. Loftus managed my pre and post surgical questions no matter how minor or inane. His PA and NP helped if he wasn’t available. I always felt I could contact someone if needed. I can honestly say this has been the best surgery I’ve ever had. Sherry Farnham

Wow! My Husband and Daughter have healed from severe pains after Dr. Loftus performed Back surgery. I thought its on time for Dr. Loftus to heal me, too!

I find Dr Loftus and his staff both professional and very personable. Through interactions and procedural explanations, it’s obvious that they care deeply for their patients. This helps alleviate any anxiety one might have for surgery and post operative treatment.

Dr. Loftus has done wonders for my back. I've had chronic back pain for years, and because of him, it's mostly gone. I can walk without my cane, and am no longer on narcotics for pain relief. If you want an honest assessment of your issues, Dr. Loftus will give you one.

Excellent Doctor and Staff.

I LOVE Dr. Loftus! He and I have been together through five different surgeries. I've got an additional one coming up in August, and Praise God, this will be the last! He is an excellent communicator and makes sure that you understand ALL your options. He doesn't try to push you towards having surgery, although with my record, I really needed his help. At one of the surgical centers that he operates at, a nurse was hooking up electrodes all over my body, and I asked why? She said it tells the surgeon if they get too close to a nerve. I asked her if Dr. Loftus has ever needed that, and she replied emphatically that not for Dr. Loftus, but for other surgeons needed the help. That gave me even more confidence in his skills. He only uses very small cuts, compared to other old school Drs. He thoroughly explains all MRIs and walks you through the plan. His assistants are amazing as well. Michelle and James are wonderful. I’ve been terrified for a long time, needing to fix this constant back pain and being in the medical field seeing/hearing all the horror stories from my patients, I’ve been here in Texas for 2 years and Dr Loftus has come up at least 3 times from patients who have had life changing care, each one has informed me of their fear to have a spinal surgery and how they all did very in depth research before deciding this physician was one of the best that could be found! I had a good appointment with Dr. Loftus. We discussed my issues and decided the MRI's should be more current for his evaluation.

Great office staff. Great Job responding on the patient portal. Dr loftus is a great person he is not going to avoid any questions that you have and everyone in the office is super helpful. I would recommend him and his practice 10 out 10 times.

This is without a doubt the most professional physician's office I've ever encountered. Every person I've talked to or come into personal contact with communicate well and exact an aura of caring. I had a major neck and spine surgery and 4 weeks later am so far pleased with the results. Great doc and practice. Perhaps a bit too popular - drove 40 minutes from Kyle and waited an hour (I was early by 10 minutes) for a 10-minute 12-week follow up conversation, then ans hour home with afternoon traffic. The essential fusion was expertly done - just griping a bit about their time ‘management.’
