Dr. Komorowski is by far the nicest Dr I have. He is so understanding and compassionate. Bedside manners are over the top! Very intelligent and takes the time to explain anything that is has to do w your cardio . Staff is wonderful! You may wait to see him, but he’s worth the wait and more! Your heart is in great hands with a Dr who loves his patient, takes time to explain and importantly listens to and addresses your concerns. He’s rates 100+. I wish he was my primary! Wow! After my third visit today I just knew I had to write a review- everyone here is awesome!! The office managers, the doctors, the people who administer tests- all personable and compassionate and seem good at what they do! How refreshing!! I have been dealing with all sorts of crazy life things and they have worked with me and been kind about it. I truly appreciate it. It’s rare to find an office this good in any specialty. Doctor Tardos is such a nice doctor. He listens and cares about the well being of the patient.

Dr. Komorowski is hands down one the best physicians I have had the privilege to work with. He reviewed my previous tests and medical history and was not comfortable with what he was reading. He immediately signed me up for 10+ new tests to create a new baseline. The results were much different than my previous cardiologist and he took the time to explain everything in detail. After experiencing some chest discomfort I made an appointment to see Dr. Komorowski. The making appointment process was quick and I was scheduled to see the Doctor the same day. Dr. Komorowski is kind, very observant , and overall someone who you can trust with cardiac health from the start. I was able to complete my testing within a week , and Dr. Komorowski made recommendations on how to improve my heart health. Thank you to the amazing staff and Dr Komorowski for everything. Been going there for a while. Long waits up to 2 hours(pre-pandemic), Billing inconsistent. Check EOB!! Poor response rate to voicemails. Important info re billing withheld. Dr Komorowski usually attentive. Dr Kianfar not good listener can be dismissive. Comments made re visits prior to and during pandemic.

I can only speak for my experience in trying to get an appointment. The online portal was fine until I tried to request an appointment. It would not go through. I called this morning and a recording stated a technician would be with me shortly. After 5 minutes someone picked up, I asked to make an appointment , and she told me to hold on for a minute. I was holding for 30 minutes before I hung up. Called back again and the recording stated the person I was trying to reach was unavailable. I called and pushed the button for billing questions. That person was also immediately unavailable. Same thing over my lunch break, only I was on hold for approximately 5 minutes when someone picked up and immediately hung up without saying a word. On call back the recording came on again stating the person you are trying to reach is unavailable. I left a message for someone to please call me back so that I could schedule an appointment. No big surprise: no one called. This is their main line on their business cards and website. I’ve heard remarkable things about this doctor and unfortunately it seems I’ll never get the opportunity to meet with him because I cannot get through to the office to schedule an appointment. I’m tempted to physically go to the office just to see how it’s run. I cannot believe that this even remotely passes for customer service. If they were having problems this should have been relayed to me. If this is the way this group is run then training may be worthwhile. Based on some of the other reviews, if my experience is par for the course then they need to fire all of them and find people who are willing to work. This is not a field where people and potential patients should be exposed to such poor treatment. A complete reflection on the doctors within the group, unfortunately. It’s embarrassing. This is my second review. After my earlier experience in trying to schedule an appointment, I received a call from a lovely woman from the Linden location. She apologized profusely and told me they were aware they were having some phone and server issues, as well as the need for some staff training to improve their level of client service. She offered me an appointment the same day. I went to the office in Brick and was treated with courtesy and efficiency. Dr Komorowski was outstanding: he took his time, was thorough in his exam and explanation of his findings as well as his thought process in driving toward a diagnosis of my symptoms. We now have a plan, which is all I could ask for. Based on other reviews, I expected no less and was delightfully surprised with the level of medical expertise and real human connection. Let me be clear as to my earlier post: Patients, such as myself, do not seek treatment for frivolous reasons. Generally they are under stress, with a healthy dose of anxiety and they want nothing more than compassion in seeking professional services. The staff members on the front lines of patient interaction set the perception for the whole group. It may be just a job to these people, but to the incoming patients, these people have to power to either add to or help diminish the tremendous stress that goes with alarming symptoms and/or illness. You are not just a technician, a receptionist, a medical biller. You are an integral part of a very important service and a potential asset to the community at large. You are representatives of the hardworking, self-sacrificing people who give up much in order to help their fellow human beings. This is a huge responsibility, and that burden should be handled with great care and with pride. If I could only give one piece of advice, it would be this: treat patients as you or one of your loved ones would expect to be (and wish to be) treated. It may take some practice, but to that patient it will make a world of difference. And support your doctors by knowing that your interaction with each and every patient is a reflection on them, as they have taken a risk by bringing you into their practice in assuming you were the best fit for the job. Dr. Is Great - Office Staff is NOT! Dr. Komorowski has a great manner and approach in delivering my health information...you cannot have a more personable and informed doctor. Unfortunately, I am NOT returning to this group because of the office staff...they send billings late which state that you (the patient) is overdue in paying, they are less than honest with regards to current patient billing information, they don't return phone calls and on top of it all they blame everyone except themselves for the billing/payment issues (i.e. patient is wrong, the Post Office delayed the mail, the bank never sent a check, etc...). As such, I have to leave a doctor that I trusted with my health because of the absolute incompetence of the office staff. Five starts for the doctor - negative stars for the office staff.

I was a last appointment- squeezed in! Efficient office staff and everyone was quite professional! Dr. K. was friendly, informative, and clear in what the plan of action would be. I am glad I switched from my previous Dr, as I feel like I matter as a person in this office, despite the business.

We had a 2.15 pm appointment, showed up at 2.15pm and was told there is 1 hr wait, which wasn't ok, but bc we took off from work to be there, we waited. Signed in and sat outside and then checked back in at the desk 3.15pm. The reception nurse said she taught we left, so they took us off the list and said it's another hour wait. No courtesy and respect for patients time. Before this visit we were always waiting over 2 hrs to see the Dr. Never again. Time to find a Dr who actually cares about his patients and their time. Time should be valued by everyone. Show up on time and don't wait 2 hrs to see to be seen. No one should do that to their clients. Patients comment about the Linden office, I've never been there, I can only comment on the Brick office. The staff there is horrible! So many errors and such disrespect from a staff of girls that have no idea what one another is doing. It's pathetic. Doctors may be very good and very competent but an unorganized staff will steer people away. My mother had a pacemaker placed and 10 days later this office contacted a surgeon to schedule my mom to insert a pacemaker! Does anybody read a chart! Making appointments was another disaster. The doctors there are amazing, but omg they need to do something about the wait in Brick. You can literally be there for 3 hours to be seen for 10 minutes. My mom has to take a bus there, a senior bus she pays for to drive her. She got there yesterday, bus dropped her off. Receptionist said it was going to be 90 minutes to a 2 hour wait. The bus stops at a certain time, so my mom had to leave or be stuck there until we were off of work! Then she had to wait for the bus to come back, to bring her home. She paid for nothing! Now she can't be seen until April, and couldn't even get an early morning appt to work around the bus schedule. Dr. Komoroski is a very good doctor and I feel very confident with his care for my condition, but... the staff is so unbelievably inefficient. The doctor ordered a test in January. It took me 4 months to get the script sent to the testing center. I was finally able to schedule the test for May. I got call 2 days before the test to find out they never processed the insurance authorization so my test was cancelled. Really, are you kidding me- I am so tired of trying to get them to do their job. He noticed something on the routine emergency room chest xray (overlooked by other doctors and surgeons) and Dr. Komorowski urged me to see my Gyn. His concern led me to schedule a gyn appointment, and a major problem was identified and fixed. Had I waited to schedule a routine annual exam, the outcome would not have been so positive. Dr. Komorowski is a genius in his field. He has saves numerous peoples lives and finds what other doctors might miss. He's well rounded in all aspects of medicine, especially vascular. Ocean Heart Group has numerous offices located around NJ and NY. He is compassionate about what he does and truly cares for his patients.

Diagnosis and treatment with medicine a week after tests confirmed a problem. Very easy to get an appointment. Minimal wait time to see the doctor. Friendly and accommodating staff for both appointments and testing. Dr. Kianfar explains everything fully so you can make informed decisions about your care.

Great Cardiologist. Yes, office visits are longer than expected sometimes, but exams are thorough. All tests and exams are done on site. Dr. Komoroski found some blockage behind my heart that wasn't found by other Drs. that needed to be addressed. Highly recomended.
