Dr. Thomas Kiefer was rude and had no empathy. He was nice for a short time until he asked about unrelated personal medical decisions. He was hyper focused on this issue and even asked about my children’s medical decisions and quickly became very vocal about his disagreement and immediately turned irritable and belligerent. After my scratch test came back negative he literally told me I was crazy, nothing was wrong with me, and there was nothing he could do for me. I only wish I had followed my gut feeling and walked out earlier rather than finish up the appointment with that type of unacceptable behavior. Thank goodness I didn’t believe him, I obviously would know if something was wrong with my own body. I ended up seeing a nurse practitioner in Columbus who specializes in hormones, gut health and personal wellness who helped me find the root cause of my real symptoms.

Can’t recommend Doctor Kiefer highly enough, when you call you talk to an actual person and you can set your appointment up with them right over the phone. No automated system and hoops to jump through. Small office that is very intimate and down to earth. The Doctor took the time to explain everything to me and took the time after the visit just to get to know me and chat, he was very personable and patient. Simply one of the best experiences I have ever had at a medical practice. I will 100% recommend Dr. Kiefer to anyone I know who is having allergy problems.

Dr. Kiefer is excellent. He is a good listener and pays close attention to your needs. I highly recommend him.

Waste of time. I have been receiving allergy shots but had to stop due to my previous doctor's office changing their hours. Despite having my medical records, he said that my hives were "non allergenic" and that shots would not help. He swept my concerns under the rug and told me I had no allergies and only a "very mild" reaction to one of the test shots. He dismissed all the obvious raised hives as "sensitive skin" and told me I don't have "any obvious triggers" for my symptoms. He told me this could be managed if I took medication daily and wrote me a prescription for the same medicines that I am already taking every day for my bad allergies (and they aren't helping). He only did a scratch test on my arm and waited 10 minutes as opposed to injecting the allergens under the skin on my back and waiting 20 minutes, which is the most accurate way to test. There is also virtually no parking anywhere. It took over 10 minutes circling the lot as there are nowhere near enough spots, no street parking, and every other lot is reserved for another building. In my family my husband was his first patient for several years, and when our sons were referred to an Allergist, he recommended him. My sons have been his patients for more thà 10 years now. He's very professional, attentive, kind & engaging with his patients. He teaches both the patient(s) & their parents/guardian about the diagnosis. I like how he explained what he's doing during consultation. I recommend him to people who ask me about Allergist(s). The doctor was super nice and took the time to go over things with me however, the receptionist was extremely rude.

Last week I saw Dr. Kiefer for the first time. The office staff were friendly and the office was neat and clean. Dr. Kiefer was friendly and personable. He didn't make me feel rushed and answered all my questions. I'd definitely return for any other issues.

Had a great experience with Dr. Kiefer. We found out exactly what I was allergic to and how to treat it. Fast, friendly service.

I went to Dr. Kiefer to deal with a specific reaction, which he dealt with promptly and accurately. He went on to perform a full skin test, which provided me with more in depth information about my allergies than I had previously been given by others. He changed my medication to a new combination of things I had used in the past but discontinued because they didn't work. Though skeptical, I gave it a shot and my symptoms have been virtually non-existent through one of the worst seasons in memory. Bottom line - this guy knows his stuff. Excellent service, appointment was on time, friendly staff, very professional

My testing showed no allergic reaction to the 40 common allergens. Dr. Kiefer took plenty of time with the tests and did his best to come up with a reason for my symptoms. He was easy to talk to and very concerned.

I took my daughter to see him. He was wonderful. He listened to my concerns and was happy to answer every question that I had that day. He was also great with my daughter.

Dr. Thomas Kiefer, communicates with the patients, unlike any other Doctor we have met. He cares. If you have a question, between office visits, he will take your call and speak with you, instead of speaking to Office Staff. He has kept me out of the Hospital, and fit the medications to my own personal needs. Thank you , Dr. Kiefer.

I am new patient from Hilliard today and was impressed with Dr. Keifer's knowledge, thoroughness and friendliness. He shared some helpful, new information about my allergies that I had not heard before. I was also grateful that his office is easy to find from I-71S and there is plenty of dedicated free parking behind the building.

Very good appointment. He was kind and thorough and explained things well. He was compassionate and caring. Not rushing through the appointment to get to the next person.

I just had my first visit with Dr. Kiefer. He has a very easy manner and seemed to be very caring about what my concerns were and his treatment of my condition. I would highly recommend him.

This doctor is not an Allergist I wouldn't recommend to anyone he basically told me my son is probably not allergic to anything then he performed the allergy test to find out that he is allergic to over 7 things and prescribed an Epi pen he also said my son wasn't wheezing and an hour later my son had to get a breathing treatment due to his wheezing from his pediatrician horrible experience This doctor is not an Allergist I wouldn't recommend to anyone he basically told me my son is probably not allergic to anything then he performed the allergy test to find out that he is allergic to over 7 things and prescribed an Epi pen he … More

I saw this allergist after a friend of mine (a family medicine doctor) heard good things about him. I am glad that I did. He was able to get me in quickly and has a great bedside manner.

Dr. Kiefer is a fantastic allergist. I started having serious allergy problems as a teen. I was hospitalized several times and ended up visiting the Cleveland Clinic. Over the years, I have moved to different places and my allergies have gone through several changes. I have been using allergy injections to minimize my symptoms but until I met Dr. Kiefer, several years ago, I didn't have much relief. He figured out the correct combination for my allergy serum, the correct treatment regime and he helped me have more peace during those major symptom times throughout the year. He is a true professional, kindly listening to my concerns and working to help me handle my allergy problems. Even though I now live 2 hours away, I continue to come to him for my allergy needs and truly recommend all my friends and associates to his practice. Dr. Kiefer is a fantastic allergist.
