In 2009 Dr. Kelly saved my husband's life by performing a mitral valve replacement, when no other surgeon was willing to perform this surgery. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Kelly and his staff.

We could not be more impressed with Dr. Kelley and the staff at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. They took incredible care of my father and successfully completed a 5 bypass open heart surgery. They were caring and kept us informed throughout the entire 5 hour procedure. So far so good. We could not have asked for more. Thank you so much!

It all happened so suddenly, one minute everything was fine and then next thing I knew my husband had picked me up from work because my grandfather was being rushed into surgery. I couldn't believe how quickly it all happened, but Dr. Kelly was operating on him before I even got to the hospital. My entire family is so incredibly grateful for Dr. Kelly and how he saved my grandfather's life that day. After the surgery he spoke to our family and explained the operation and what had led my grandfather to the operation. He was so kind, my family is so extremely grateful. He saved my grandfather's life. His cardiologist told us that Dr. Kelly is one of the best in his field and that Sarasota Memorial's heart program is one of the best in the country. We couldn't be more thankful for him and Sarasota Memorial Hospital

I was VERY happy with the treatment my husband received from Dr. Kelly. I had known of him years ago when he started the open heart unit at this hospital. He was very polite and answered any questions we had. Most of the details of risk were all explained by the anesthetist. My husband got worried after THAT talk but still loves Dr. Kelly.

Dr. Kelly is the most kind and compassionate doctor I have ever met. My parents spend 6 months out of the year in Sarasota and he is the greatest blessing they have found in the 24 years they have been coming to the area. My father had a heart attack in the middle of the night and Dr. Kelly was almost to the hospital faster than we were. I would recommend this dedicated physician to anyone needing a heart surgeon. This was a very scary time for my family and I couldn't have felt more grateful to have found a doctor like Dr. Kelly.
