Dr. Thomas Nathaniel Howard

He listens and takes his time to treat his full time patients with respect and confidence. I like that he has appointments for his regular patients, but if I'm sick I can walk in and be seen also. That's unlike most other internists in the area. If you're sick you end up going to an urgent care anyway because you cannot get in to see them.

Always wonderful. Dr Howard takes care of me and also my roommate. Everyone is friendly and professional. Never a long wait to see him.

I have been his patient for 7 years and he held up my bladder infection medicine over a contested bill with the liberty group .He knew i had bladder cancer but forced me to pay the contested $ 40.I guess " do no harm " isnt applicable

He was a better Doctor before he joined Liberty group the billing is a fiasco.They charged me for things that were paid before by the insurance.I had bladder cancer and he withheld a prescription till I paid a bill that was in contention.Virtual medical blackmail.It was for $40 I guess $ 40 was more important than a patient's well being

Dr. Howard is kind and compassionate. He always listens and makes suggestions for a speedy recovery!!

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dr. Howard is compassionate, knowledgeable and an excellent practitioner. I truly felt I was in good hands for my medical issue and I will definitely reach out to this practice should I need care going forward and recommend him to my family and friends.

I had a very personal issue and Dr. Howard was easy to talk to and took care of the problem within minutes. I came in as a walk-in and the receptionist was so warm and welcoming. His nurse was caring with a great personality. I felt comfortable my entire visit. I highly recommend this doctor and this clinic.

Dr. Howard was easy to talk to and provided me with care that was thorough but quick! I did not have an appointment and I was seen in under 20 minutes. His nurse and receptionist were both friendly and kind.

Please don't ever think twice about going to South Strand Urgent care. I love the fact that you can walk in and never a long wait. Love Dr. Howards nurse and Dr. Howard is a great, caring Doctor. When you see him he takes the time to talk to you about any concerns and he is so knowledgeable and has helped me from a sprained ankle, sinus infection as well as when I was depressed. I also love the fact that they have an x-ray machine so no need to deal with going to the ER. You will be in Great hands with Dr. Howard!!

Do not recommend this doctor after the worse medical experience of my life. And looking into him, he got his medical degree from St. George's University in Grenada? Let's hope it wasn't an online medical degree.

I contested a charge for lab work that I hadn't ordered, wanted or needed. I had gone in for a routine blood test to allow me to refill a prescription I'd had for years and another test was added without my knowledge. Medicare won't pay it because it is deemed 'medically unnecessary'. Dr. Howard's practice has refused to return my calls or answer my letters. What they did do was send me a letter 'terminating ' me. And I never even received the lab results I was billed for. I'd avoid this fellow.

Will never return. Went a few days ago for a kidney stone pain and infection. Dr. Howard spent less than 1 minute with me. Said he would call antibiotics in...which even after the nurse went over my current meds...the anti biotics had severe interactions with my current meds. Gave me a shot of toradol....told me no narcotics would help with this kind of pain..which I then wound up waiting in the ER for 6 hours. ER doc said his treatment plan was horrible! No bedside manner at all.

Visited office for ear ache. Was seen faster than expected. Staff was very nice and empathetic. Dr. Howard was direct and took the time to answer my questions.
