On the plus side, he is personable and listens to your issue. My visit went well overall. On the minus side, I am not sure he helped me much. His allergy testing was for things I couldn't possibly need to be tested for. It made me think he was just racking up the bill for my insurance company. On the whole, I would recommend him.
Dr. Helm was professional, kind, patient, and had a very good connection with my son. Excellent knowledge of allergies.
He supposedly cancelled an appointment but we never received a call from them. They flat out lied.

Dr. Helm is knowledgeable and reasonable in his assessment and care of my son's nut allergies. He won't put him through unnecessary testing. He is familiar with the latest information and has always been willing to answer all my questions and explain his recommendations. I was most impressed with his thorough examination which at times has been more thorough than my kids' pediatrician. I would highly recommend Dr. Helm.
Dr. Helm has been an amazing provider for my toddler who had multiple food allergies. He and his staff are extraordinary at helping empower me with knowledge and a plan. We have successfully completed two food challenges and Dr. Helm has helped us understand his approach to when he is comfortable doing a challenge, as well as managed our expectations. He has called to check in after an exposure and is calm and trustworthy. I recommend him to anyone with kids. He is WONDERFUL.
Dr. Helm was not interested in talking with us about how to make sense of the results of an allergy test.
