Dr. Thomas F. Gregory

I could not ask for a more caring or professional doctor than Dr. Gregory. He took the time to read my file and knew everything I had been through from the beginning of my cancer journey until he took over my case. My original doctor retired and the one I was assigned to just was not getting the job done as far as fighting cancer or even seeing me, I was being seen by the NP's. I thank God for Dr. Gregory and the years of experience and knowledge he has in the field of Oncology. He shares his thoughts and suggests an action plan but it is made with me, not on his own. His follow-through on that plan is swift and he brings you back as soon as possible to report back the findings and move forward. He answers all of my questions, even when it may not be the answer I want, but his compassion is as real as his knowledge of the beast. When my family has questions, he answers them, all of them. I have been walking this path a little over 7 years now and I am very happy with how Dr. Gregory has treated me as a patient and a person. Dr Gregory and his staff are wonderful. My only complaint is with the schedulers.

Dr Gregory has been my physician since 2012. I appreciate the time and the care that he has provided me. When he suspected that I had developed thrombocytopenia in 2017, he was very honest with me about what he did and did not know about the disease. I will maintain him as my physician for as long as I can.

Very professional. Explains things so I can understand. Puts me at ease and answers all my questions. I feel like he cares for my whole well being. Great doctor. Great service from him and entire staff.

Dr. Gregory made me feel as though he really cared about my health and wanted what was best for me. He answered every question I had and really put me at ease. He listened to my concerns and made me feel understood.

Confirmed by blood test that I am doing well which is how I am feeling.

Dr. Gregory is very kind and personable, and his nurse is very helpful.

They have been wonderful in every way. They answer questions with honesty. I could not have asked for a better bunch of nurses, doctors, or radiation technicians. God had y’all lined up for me before I even knew about my cancer. So glad we are in this together!!

Well pleased with visits with Dr. Gregory

Referred for elevated WBC. Dr spent majority of his time saying that primary care physicians do not do their research and should not be referring so much to hematology. I felt stupid for going to this Dr. Lack of communication from staff & explaining further steps.

Very satisfied with the complete appointment I had with Dr. Gregory. It was thorough and complete. Follow up apts. will be made.

Very disappointed. I have been an RN for 28 years and never seen this lack of caring in all my years in healthcare. We waited 2mos for an appt with Dr Gregory after my Dad had finished his radiation treatments with Dr Saunders. Dr Gregory had no idea why we were there, had not even opened his chart. After my Dad became septic and was hospitalized in November last year, NO ONE from Texas Oncology had the time of day for my Dad or my family. During rounds one day, Dr Richards even told the nurse that he did not have time to talk to the family at bedside. This was even be fore COVID. My Dad died 2/13/2020 and they still send appt reminders, that's how much they cared about my Dad and our family, NOT!!! Very disappointed. Very professional, communicates so that I can understand the whys of planned treatment. Also provided me with some great resources to take home with me. Happy that he is part of my team.

Dr. Gregory is a great doctor and takes time to explain everything to you Yes, I would recommend him.

Dr a Gregory is not only my oncologist, but also my mother’s. He takes his time and listens to what our concerns are. You couldn’t ask for a better doctor.

Dr. Gregory is always very attentive and kind during our visit. He takes time to listen to what's going on with me, and I never feel rushed.

My appointment was scheduled for 12:30. At 1:00 I was ushered into an exam room. No doctor in sight. Finally at 2:10 he showed up just as I had my hand on the door knob to leave. He seemed rather disorganized and took a few minutes to look at my paperwork. After 5 minutes of discussion about my slight anemia he conducted a very brief exam. At 2:25 I was out of there with a shrug of his shoulders and a brief comment to keep an eye on it. What a waste of my time! I learned nothing.

Dr. G. Is the most compassionate doctor I have ever had the pleasure of getting to know. He always had time to explain what was goin on or what was next or what’s to come. His bed side manner was great, soothing and he cared for the patient not just a patient that could be dying.
