Very rude and disrespectful doctor. He did not give me any information regarding my surgery on my post op appt. He was too busy telling me I was a loser because I was under the care of a pain management doctor. I’ve never been so humiliated in my life. I went to another surgeon who had to fix this guys mess up which caused my spine to fracture. I do not recommend this surgeon. Stay away!!

Dr. Grahm accepted my referral from the UT Health ER, re: acute spinal stenosis. Within 20 minutes of my first visit, following a glance at the medications prescribed by my PM physician, he had me banished from being seen by anyone in his neurology group. I was delighted that Azalea Orthopedic's spine surgery team could align and fuse the lumbar region, freeing me of constant pain I endured for 2 years. A retired professor, I appreciated the dignity I got with pain management and successful surgery under Azalea's care. I found Dr. Grahm's swift judgement of me inappropriate and rife with consequence.

After going to a clinic off of N Broadway and a CT scan showing signs of a bulging in my lumbar disc they sent me to the hospital to get an MRI, blood, etc. After waiting for Dr Graham to read my results the nurse had told me I had a ruptured disc. I turned into a waterfall. They showed the MRI to the neurosurgeon. Within 5-10 minutes Dr Graham had read and was able to tell me I would walk again. After my follow up he was against surgery. More relief. 3 months and I’ll be walking again. The doctor and his staff were great; however the $30 fee to fax over the FMLA paperwork was excessive. I could not believe I heard the message correctly. Now, I understand why some reviews said they are ALL about money.

I had surgery this week and I already see an improvement! He and his team did an amazing job!! I can't say enough good things about him! Neurological issues can be frightening and cause a lot of distress, but take the time to listen to what he has to say.

Dr Grahm performed an emergency laminectomy and discetomy on me this week. The absolute worst patient care I have ever recieved. Failed to thoroughly answer questions, treat post operative pain, and was absolutely rude, arrogant, and insufferable. I had to have this same procedure performed 10 months ago in San Francisco and received amazing care there. My experience with Dr. Grahm and UT Health East Texas was nothing short of traumatic.

We have seen Dr. Grahm for about 6 months. My husband had successful surgery with Dr. Grahm but he still required so much pain medication . Dr. Grahm had a very educational informative visit with us and explained what was going on. His brain had become dependent on the medications. Well now after some hard work my husband is doing great. Doctor Grahm examined my 91 year old mother and determined she has a fracture to C2 vertebrae and he put her in a neck brace. She was discharged from hospital and sent to nursing care Numerous requests made by the nursing home staff and myself were ignored by the doctor and his office, six weeks later we still don't have any instructions on how best to care for her. His office staff are arrogant and incompetent.

after several attempts to get dr. graham to perform this desperatly needed surgery on my wife (epidermoid brain tumor near brain stem and on temporal lobe causing a daily barrage of seizures), his office will not do it! He is requiring about $6,000 up front! It's odd how he acted like it just had to come out untill he realized we do not have $6,000, then it all of the sudden didnt seem like such an emergency to him! Money seems to be their only concern! Well we have kids that need their mom!

I originally really liked Dr Graham Until yesterday. I went in for my follow up and I was belittled, told I'd never get better because I was in pain management and it was fun for my brain to take pain meds. He told me I would NEVER get better because I'd been on pain medicine. I honestly do not believe he even remembered who I was. He treated me horribly and had a smirk on his face the whole time. I left not knowing anything about my surgery. Just that I am now a drug addict. I left in tears

Gene Kelly Corsicana, Tx After having pain from waist down in my right hip and lower leg, and having multiple MRI's and seeing at least 3 other orthopedics doctors of which Two said I needed hip replacement and one said I needed three vertebrae's fused. After having severe pain for almost sixteen years Dr. Graham fixed my problem as a outpatient and all the pain has left. If I could give him six stars I would.

Thought he was a good neurosurgeon, but he decided that the patient was exaggerating his pain, so he would not listen to the problems.

Dr. Grahm explains the procedure so completely in terms that one can understand. I was impressed about his follow up with the scheduler to make sure that I saw a doctor at the ENT clinic. He cares about all aspects of your individual situation, reviews your file and remembers your case. I highly recommend him!!!

Dr. Graham is a Christian Dr. & wants only the very best for his patients! Dr. Graham saw me in the hospital as I was transported by ambulance from Texarkana, Tx. Dr. Graham wanted the best for me & was so truthful with me. He does anurysm (sp) procedures but told me that if he did mine, since it was a 14mm on my optic nerve, if he cut into me, I had a 95% chance of dying, having a stroke and being paralyzed. Referred me to Dr. Kurt Ruland, who is #5 as best in the WORLD for what he does.
