Dr. Fleeter is one of the 2 best Orthopedic Doctor's and Surgeons I have had the fortune of their services. I'm. Veteran and know good people when I meet them. Dr. Fleeter replaced my left knee and every step he laid out is exactly what to expect. No surprises just great explanations leading to the utmost confidence both before and after surgery. My appreciation has been earned and in place from the beginning. Thank you sir

Dr Fleeter changed my life--and not in a good way. I haven't been able to walk for over 4 years after he broke my femur during a hip replacement. He told me repeatedly that my severe pain was because I wasn't working hard enough on my rehab. I walked around on a broken femur for 4 weeks before he recognized a problem, which he mis-diagnosed as an undersized implant. When he operated a 2nd time to put in a bigger implant, he THEN discovered the broken bone. I then had a 3rd operation to fix the broken femur and put in an even larger implant. I spent 2 months in a rehab hospital to recover from the 3 hip replacement operations and to cure a severe infection I had picked up in the process. Not once in all this did I hear from him or get any "I'm sorry" phone calls. Right up to the surgery I had gone to the gym every day and was in excellent shape. I haven't been able to exercise since then, and have gained 50 lbs that I can't get rid of. Thanks, Dr. Fleeter. Zero stars for you. Dr Fleeter changed my life--and not in a good way. I had an unpleasant experience with this doctor few years back at Town Center Orthopedic in their Centreville office which made me stop seeing one other favorite doctor at this office, and switched to another doctor. Also I was mistreated by the front desk receptionist at their Reston office who I believe judged me based on my ethnicity, and wanted to collect a $30 copay upfront which was not required by other patient. She appeared to be all white and unpleasant. These 2 incidents with this practice were enough for me to stop using this office. Dr Fleeter performed surgery on both knees. Between him, and the team of physical therapists especially Gabby pushing and believing in me I've gone from struggling to get in and out of my bed to 3 mile walks on a daily basis....

Dr Fleeter is excellent. He listens to his patients, does a thorough exam and explains the problem in terms they can understand. X rays are done right in his office. He always tries to treat conservatively and recommends surgery only when absolutely necessary. Dr Fleeter not only has the knowledge, he has the wisdom of experience. This isn't his first rodeo. Dr. Fleeter’s no-nonsense approach coupled with providing a comprehensive explanation of symptoms/injury and the subsequent treatment is beyond reproach.

I found Dr. Fleeter to be a very personable physician. He answered my questions in a way that I could understand the response and didn't hesitate to answer questions even if it was not about me and my surgery! I am happy to recommend him to anyone who needs knee surgery.

I wanted to say we were really grateful with Dr. Fleeter’s calm and steady demeanor. My daughter’s diagnosis and procedure were explained thoroughly and clearly. Dr. Fleeter was amazingly kind and understanding and helped my daughter feel comfortable and spoke to her fears and tried to lessen them for her.

I highly recommend Dr Fleeter. He was extremely friendly, patient and had a wonderful sense of humor. He explained thoroughly what needed to be done, expressed a professional confidence which put me at ease immediately, and I was amazed at how quickly we went from first appointment to surgery. Dr. Fleeter replaced both my knees. My life is forever changed, as osteoarthritis had really limited my mobility. I found the entire office to be efficient. Scheduling was easy and quick. All of my phone calls or emails were answered same day. Dr. Fleeter explained everything ahead of time in a way that I could understand. He's very professional but also amusing. I highly recommend him. His surgical staff was also very organized and friendly, making the whole experience easier for me. I particularly liked his anesthesiologist, Rich, who made sure I understood all he was doing and why he was doing it this way. Dr. Fleeter replaced both my knees. I’ve seen Dr.Fleeter for my ankle a few times and he ultimately performed surgery on it for me as well. He’s very direct and clear with explaining things, which I appreciate and he’s taken the time to get to know me as well. He never makes me feel rushed. He’s just very knowledgeable and will get straight to the point with confidence about what needs to be done.

I reached the dr's office 30 mins ahead of my appointment time. But I waited an hour in extra after my appointment time. It was so insane. The office staff collected the copay as soon as we reached, hence we were not able to walk out also. This spoiled my entire day's plan. I also felt that medical staff was not tht friendly too.

Assuming this includes PT staff: Their respect and courteous demeanor is absolutely outstanding. Asmetia, in particular, is totally the best. Sometimes I felt she was pushing me harder than I could handle, I knew it was in my best interest. Always a smile and upbeat attitudes from all the staff....kudos to them all!!!

As always, Dr. Fleeter thoroughly explained everything, from treatment options, considerations for future success, physiology of relation of my hip to my knee, all with genuine concern and my well being. I would not ever go to another orthopedic Doctor with my experiences with Dr. Fleeter.

I found Dr. Fleeter back in 1997 when I needed help with my knee. It took 30 seconds for his diagnosis in his office that day. I needed ACL reconstruction and did not know what an ACL was. He went over the options and recommended the best one for me. I was nervous being it was my first surgery and did I really need an ACL? Dr. Fleeter put me at ease that I was in good hands and it would be a huge quality of life change. He was right as this has been one of the best decisions I ever made. I had been having P.T. at Town Center Orthopedic, Dr. Fleeter was very honest with my about having the P.T. He said that I was wasting my time as P.T. wouldn't help me. He could have encouraged me to keep going with it as I think the P.T. section is all part of Town Center. If I needed a doctor in his field I am sure I would go back to him, he seemed very knowledgeable, the appointment was on time and he was very friendly.

I was entirely pleased with the care I got from Dr. Fleeter and the associated physical therapy department.

Through an extended process of me trying to delay my total hip replacement surgery longer than I should have, Dr. Fleeter's advice was always on target. When I finally gave in, I felt that he did an excellent job on the surgery. He is also an engaging man with an excellent sense of humor which is an added plus. I will need another hip replacement eventually as well as a knee replacement and I will certainly return to Dr. Fleeter.

Dr. Fleeter is such a sweet, accommodating and caring doctor! No matter how much I complain or how difficult of a patient I’m being he is always willing to help. I highly recommend him for all your orthopedic needs!

Dr Fleeter is truly a one of a kind orthopedic surgeon. His bedside manners are above and beyond and he took the time to listen about my concerns and issues with both knees. Being only 52 years old I have been seeing a different surgeon for over 2 years getting knee injections and every other treatment. It was clear I had serious arthritis and my knee caps were in fire 24/7. Dr Fleeter replaced my right knee May 15th and I on getting my left knee replacement done July 10th. He is the best!

Dr. Fleeter continues to provide top notch care before, during and after surgery. I had both hips replaced, nine weeks apart, and he was very attentive and encouraging. Wouldn’t go to anyone else!!

Dr. Fleeter worked outside of his normal operating schedule to address my urgent hip replacement need and greatly alleviated my pain. My legs are also the same length now. Dr. Fleeter did a fantastic job on my full hip replacement surgery.

Dr. Fleeter has been my orthopedist since 2001. So glad I found him. He has performed two left knee meniscus repairs in 2001 and 2016, a left shoulder rotator cuff repair in 2009, a right knee total replacement in 2014, and just two weeks ago, a left knee partial replacement. Dr. Fleeter and his whole practice are total professionals. They are caring and friendly. I have never had a complaint about my treatment. I would recommend to everyone.

Orthopedic surgeons have gone into my knee seven times over the past thirty years...five times with Dr. Fleeter. Too many falls at my end to keep anything stable in my knee, but Dr. Fleeter has bailed me out every time. Hopefully I can stay vertical for a long time.

Very pleased with the care I have gotten from Dr. Fleeter & his staff. My concerns were addressed promptly and with caring.

Dr. Fleeter has been so kind to my family over several serious injuries and truly is responsible for my daughter being able to compete at nationals level with her horse. Her hip issue had been misdiagnosed three times and he instantly knew what was wrong with her and cleared his schedule to take her into surgery immediately. He has cared for my son through multiple injuries as a college D-1 soccer player, and me in my more casually produced injuries. We are eternally grateful to him.

Dr Fleeter is the BEST doctor in the world. I can't say enough good things about him. He is always explains things and makes sure I understand fully. He has been there for me when I had a torn patella tendon, broken tibia and my fight with MRSA. As an amputee he also supports me and heIped me get a great Prosthetist . I highly recommend him to everyone whom I talk to about needing an Orthopaedic Doctor. Several of my friends had seen him and totally love him.
