Very nice Doctor. Thorough and explained his plan for me.

Does not listen or seem to care about your problems. Talks down to you like he doesn't expect you to understand what he's saying. Spends very little time with you and then just offers medication without explaining risks, side effects, etc.

I have had several experiences with Dr. Fenstermacher over the years, and my impression is that he is cold, easily agitated, and treats patients like numbers rather than people. He shows little concern for his patients' well-being, preferring to shirk his responsibilities instead of helping those in need, even when he could do so easily. I believe that WellSpan Philhaven is overall a good organization staffed by many good people, so it's a shame that Dr. Fenstermacher's entrenchment there damages their reputation in the community.

In and out of his office within 40 seconds while inpatient... very rude and not throughro.

When I requested to be released from the program, Philhaven informed me that I would have a hearing. At the hearing, Dr. Fenstermacher presented information that was incorrect. He presented my case even though he had never talked to me and said that I would not take medication if at home. This was untrue. I felt like his presentation of my case was unfair.
