Doctor is great.

Dr Dixon and his staff are the Best... I've been going to him now almost 2 years. All tje girls that work there are very professional .. But .. They can and will take a joke.. I just adore Dr. Dixon.. But I am sorry to say that .. He does not like jokes... But that's okay.. I still adore him.. The last time I was there .. About 2 weeks ago.. I made a sarcastic remark and I think I made him angry and for that.. I am truly sorry.. I love the work he has done and he takes time with you to explain every thing that's happening.. Dr Dixon may have been having a bad day when I went, but I don't believe that's a good excuse for a professional to treat someone that way. He was short with me everytime I had a question and treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about when I told him which tooth was hurting me and did nothing to address the problem tooth, because he didn't believe me that that was the one that was hurting me. I have Medicaid, and Dr. Dixon is the closest dentist to me who accepts this insurance (it was still a 45 minute drive to get there). I asked my previous dentist to send my x-rays and dental history to Dr. Dixon. During my consultation, the staff members asked me to take an X-Ray in their office. When I asked why they didn't have my previous X-rays, they said they could not find it. I called my previous dentist, and they told me they sent my information twice already and that Dr. Dixon's office had not even opened the file yet. Dr. Dixon's staff looked again but could not find my information and gave me a choice: I take the X-Ray right now in their office or I go to my previous dentist and get a physical copy of my X-ray. After the third time of calling my previous dentist and handing the staff members my phone so they could talk to her, the receptionist finally found my information. However, they struggled to open the file and complained about it. After my consultation, Dr. Dixon sent me to an oral surgeon that was not the closest one available. Several months later when the businesses that had shutdown due to COVID-19 reopened, I called Dr. Dixon's office to get a referral to get back on track to go see the oral surgeon. The staff told me that they did not have any of my information (including my x-Ray) on file. The only thing they had noted about me was that I refused to do a panoramic X-Ray with them. My husband already left a review following his appointment regarding the dentists behavior, but upon going to another dentist after not getting proper treatment and being disregarded, the new dentist found a piece of metal broken off an instrument from this office lodged between two teeth. The dentist had to know it happened and instead of trying to fix their mistake they just left it. Can't believe someone who would do something like that is still in business. I am not able to be seen by the dentist due to my husband whom I am separated from has a bill with them even though we have to different insurances and everything I'm not allowed to have an appointment until he pays his bill. That's outrageous an unheard of. How can someone else have an effect on me? He is completely separate from me. So if your ex spouse has an account with them an has a bill dont expect to be see by them On top of that everyone u spoke to had a nasty attitude with me from the jump. I do not recommend going here. Painless. You can tell this Dr. Knows what he's doing and is very good at it. He takes his time and makes sure you are comfortable and explains what he's doing. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr. Dixon has been our family dentist for many years. He and his staff have always been patient, kind and helpful. We trust his advice completely. I am always anxious and nervous about dental work. They always give me encouragement and calm my fears.
