If you can avoid Dr. Cobyons please do. After waiting for him for almost 30 minutes he spent about 2 with me. Barely responded to my questions, suggested to go back to work when I still had pain after surgery. I kept stopping him several times when he was trying to leave the room because I had more questions that have not been answered. When he was looking at my incisions he was bragging to what it looked like another doctor, that he does 3 instead of 4. Felt like the whole time he was not even talking to me. He might have a great reputation as a surgeon but he needs to work on his doctor-patient interactions. Went for a follow up after gallbladder surgery and spent 45 seconds useful seconds with me to tell me that I needed a colonoscopy because I got hemorrhoids for not moving for 2 weeks after surgery. His office charged me $273 for nothing. Of course, they made an appointment through his office to do the colonoscopy which I cancelled after getting a second opinion. Avoid this greedy doctor at all cost! He might be a great surgeon but his manners with patients need to improve.

I waited too long to get checked. Please ladies, get your mamos. Dr. Corbyons was selected for me by my daughter who worked for my Primary. Dr. Corbyons and his staff was the best choice for me. We got along great, he was very honest and knowledgeable. I got through a double mastectomy with a second surgery just fine. My scars are minimal and I am now cancer free. About 6 months later my sister passed away from throat cancer. When I went for my 6 month check up Dr. Corbyons and his staff were the most empathetic, caring and compassionate medical team I ever encountered. I waited too long to get checked. I went in to ER with abdominal pain. Dr. Corbyon went into my CT scan with me and immediately discussed what he could see. After consulting with his team, I was in and out of surgery within hours. It's only been five days since surgery, I have little pain and am grateful for Dr Corbyon's knowledge and professionalism.

Dr. Corbyons was a excellent surgeon. Very informative with me on exactly what he was going to do. Surgery went well with very little pain.

I am alive today because of Dr. Corbyons. Four trips to the Advent Hosp in Deland complaining of a blockage. 3 cat scans, obvious excessive bloating and the ER kept telling me I'm constipated. My colon had burst and the ER was preparing exit paperwork after giving me enough morphine that the pain had diminished sufficiently to send me home. If it wasn't for Dr. Corbyons, I would have gone home and died that night. I thank the Lord everyday that he put Dr. Corbyons in my path. I'm still healing but am so grateful to be alive. Dr Corbyons is obviously a skilled and knowledgeable surgeon with a friendly and humorous manner. He is well versed on the latest ideas, techniques and articles. His office is well run and his staff are both kind and efficient. He made me feel as if I was the only patient that he had to see each time I met with him.

My family fell in love with Dr. Corbyons. Ironically, my mother was sent to him by mistake. However, he sat with her and read over her pathology report and what he saw from it. His sense of humor is wonderful. His nurses are great and so friendly. Pam, his medical assistant went above and beyond for us. She was so reassuring to my mother and really eased my mother's fears. We really enjoyed our "accidental" visit and all the help he offered to my mother. I would recommend him everyone,

I want to start by saying this Dr Corbyon is a freaking joke has very and absolute no bed manners at all he is the most rudest Dr I've ever meet in my life. He doesn't care about what the patient feels are he doesn't sit with you and give you any explanation at all. I went in for a umbilical hernia repair. Simple as that and after a month I have know a diastatis recti never had any issues at all with my abdomin and know I need plastic surgery and this ass hole Dr is so pathetic and has no professional skills at all I want to let you know if anyone is looking to see this Dr or you are in his office run get out as soon as you can he is a butcher trust me you will regret it. I sure did and I went back to him and all he had to say is that there is nothing he can do. That this happen cause I'm getting old and had three children. Never heard about this happening after a supposedly umbilical hernia repair. Run for your life do not let this Dr do any surgery on your body at all. God bless you all. Over a 30-yr period, I have found Dr. Corbyons to be very informed in his profession, very skilled in his practice, and not too hurried to take the time necessary to insure his patient(s) fully comprehend his diagnosis and intended course of action. He also encourages his patient(s) to seek a second opinion in serious matters. I have had only 1 interaction with Dr Donohoe, when he performed an emergency surgery for my spouse, and found him to also be very knowledgeable, skilled, and affable. I can't begin to express how upset I am. I was referred to Dr. Donohoe to have a port placement done last yr in December. Months after the surgery I was still have discomfort, pain, swelling an other problems with my port. I went in on 5 separate occasions to have him look at it. As well as a portogram. Each time I was told there isn't anything wrong. Went to another Dr. this month and I was told I have to have to port replaced. I am very upset with this Dr. He acted like this wasn't a big deal.
