Dr. Thomas E. Carson

I wonder why I keep calling them. On hold 18 minutes. No person actually answered to say please hold we are busy. Called again on hold for 15 minutes again. Time to look for another practice. The doctors don’t impress me there and now with COVID service is even worse!

Stay away from tarpon springs office. Unprofessional and the web site for tarpon you can’t leave a review because they loose info on you and they make you feel like you are a animal so unprofessional

Takes time, examines, goes over blood work with you. Very kind, even funny sometimes. Listens to your concerns. Never feels rushed. Total trust.

I liked Dr Carson back in the day, but his staff is rude and unaccommodating, and PA/practioners are a bunch premadonna flunkies.

I've been with Dr Thomas Carson for 30 years and my age is 61. When I first went to Dr. Carson I had several issues which affected my daily life. Because of Dr. Carson's help I now live a wonderful life all because of him. He's funny and takes a lot of time to explain my issues and how to correct them. Dr.Carson is our family doctor. He is knowledgeable, compassionate and thorough. We have the utmost confidence in him and his staff to care for our medical needs.

I have been going to this practice for about 15 years! My husband & I would NOT go anywhere else, and we drive from Weeki Wachee. They always treat me with respect, care and concern. When no I am sick they see me right away, these negative reviews are shocking as I have been pleased with the care!!!

Pick another doctor and office. The staff are rude, unprofessional, and lack empathy.

It takes a lot for me to finally drag myself in to see the Dr. I was seen by a Nurse Practitioner. I had a persistent cough and another problem. Her comment was "well your all over the place with your issues". Never bothered to order a chest X-ray. Just pasted it off as reflux related. And never checked my urin for my other problem. Told me to see someone else for that. The cough was bad, and it turned out 2 months later and no change I got a second opinion. They took it seriously and orded the test to diagnose the problem. It was severe. I will never go back to this practice again. I'm not one to Doctor hop around, but this person was rude, and treated me as if i was wasting her time. She wasted my money and health. just read some of the bad reviews posted here and respectfully disagree, I have been seeing Dr. Carson for over five years and have never experienced anything like what the others here are saying. Dr. Carson is one of the most thorough and caring primary care doctors I have ever known. I would suspect the others giving him a 1 star review have an agenda for some reason. I couldn't make it in 30 minutes early to my initial appt so I offered to come in the day before so I could complete the paperwork process. They wouldn't work with me at all- must be nice to have so much business you can turn people away. Thanks for nothing.

I am not sure why others have had such critical reviews about this office but I have been going here for over 8 years and they have been awesome. They have late appointments available on Thursdays which is awesome for my work schedule. They have also been able to accommodate me on short notice as well. He has the bedside manners of a cold fish. Horrible demeanor and belittles his patients. I will not be mistreated by him or any of his partner's ever again.

Dr. Carson 's lack of compassion towards all of the patients at his care center is very evident. I made a legitimate complaint regarding a wrong diagnosis made by his NP. I was given wrong medication and was in pain for 2 weeks. Went back to Dr. Roose and felt she had a big problem with honesty regarding necessary medication. I followed office policy and complained to the office manager. After a month Dr. Carson fired me from his practice with 25 days notice. I have 2 scheduled appts. :(

Dr. Carson has been my family's doctor for 30 years. He makes it easy for someone like me (doctor phobic) to understand my condition in detail. An attentive listener, he spends time to discuss alternatives or a downside to a potential treatment, all the while, with humor and compassion, making me at ease. At critical times, he has been available during off hours, a life-saver! My gratitude to Dr. Carson. I will rue the day he retires. We have been so fortunate to have him.

I have been a patient with carson family care for the past 3 years and every time I would go in for an appointment I would leave asking myself why do I keep coming back? The front office staff is rude and and it only gets worse once you are called back(never at your appointment time). Not once have I been scheduled with a doctor that actually helped me with the reason I came in and always had me leave in a bad mood from the way I was treated. The billing department is the worst I have ever had to deal with. They do not send you a bill but wait months to then send you "final notice" with a note that states they are sending it to collection and if it is sent to collections you will be discharged. I have no problem paying my bills but do not send me a final notice acting like I can not afford a $20 bill that you never notified me of. After everything that has happened I requested to have my records sent to me because I will never go back. A few years a go I paid to have my old records from up north sent to them because they would not pay for it now I am being told I have to pay them a fee for them to release my records.
