Excellent doctor

Great Dr. And expert in all things requiring electrophysiology . Took care of my husband . This Doc was competent , compassionate and caring and did an excellent job trying to save my husband . He and his team are a Godsend ! It is truly not always easy to find all these qualities in a cardiologist . This Dr . Is superb. I would recommend to anyone needing an electrophysiologist or cardiac care Dr. .

He is the most knowledgeable interested doctor I have ever had care for me. He listened to my problems. Then he researched my records going back to 2015 so he could know my history. We then talked about options. His bedside manner is kind and caring.

Excellent heart doctor. just had a duel chamber pacemaker implanted and cannot say how pleased I am with dr. Burkart. very professional, he took all the time I needed for questions and was able to fully explain what is going on with my heart. He explained the options and consequences. Great bed side manner. He is people person, says how it is no sugar coating. I like that.

Seen Dr Burkart for A Fib issues. I had previous operations in Seattle but failed after time. He puts the patient at ease, talks to you like a human. Will give you honest answers. BEST in the state. IMO. You will not be sorry for a visit to him.

My husband dr. He loves him even after two heart procedures for afib. My husband hates dr. But loves dr. Burkart. That is a miracle dr!!

Dr. Burkart is very knowledgeable, compassionate, caring doctor who takes patient concerns seriously. He takes time discussing my medical issues; I always feel safe in his care.

I literally travel to see this doctor, definitely one of the most caring and competent physicians. He is extremely compassionate and knows exactly what he's talking about. Very humble, just a down to earth, gentle human being. I've been a patient of his since 2010. He saved my life.

Dr. Thomas Burkart's love of electrophysiology is what guides his hands in the work he does everyday to restore the quantity and quality of life for all his patients. I first came to him in 2010 and truthfully didn't know the impact he would have on my life. How do you say thank you to a man who has worked diligently and patiently through the years to make sure you were living to your full potential, in spite of heart rhythm issues. How do you say thank you to a man who gave you a second chance? My little note doesn't do it justice, but I hope that others get to experience the life changing, life saving technology that he has at his disposal. I hope others get to experience the joy in knowing who he is and what he is capable of doing for our broken hearts. Dr Burkart is a rock star doc. He told me he would take care of my 18 yr old daughter and cure her of her rapid heart beat, which had prevented her from doing the things she loved to do for years. The ablation procedure was recommended. Dr Burkart told us she would be in good hands, and she would be cured. She was, and she is. Back to doing the things she loved to do.

Dr Thomas Burkart cured my daughter of her arrhythmia problem which she had been suffering with for years. It's hard to imagine just how scary it was for her to live through episodes where her heart raced uncontrollably for hours at a time, over 220 beats per minute. Dr Burkart said he would take care of my daughter, and he did just that. In a catheter ablation procedure, the problem has been cured. Thank you UF Shands, Cardiology at Spring Hill, and most of all Dr Burkart and the brilliant team of doctors that support him.
