I have been under the Care of Dr. Berenberg for a year for my retina issue. I have been a patient of The Eye Care Group for over 40 years. They are a group of wonderful, caring Doctors both retired and present. Dr. Berenberg's care during this critical issue has been phenomenal. If you need care for your eye's, The Eye Care Group is the group of Dr's to put your trust. Should you need care for retinal issue, Dr. Berenberg's level of care and knowledge has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Dr. Berenberg is one of the best doctors I have ever encountered. He spends time explaining procedures and answering questions. He is so mild mannered and informative. He just puts you at ease. I've been to him many times for eye injections and have never felt a thing. I was also very impressed with everyone on staff. I highly recommend Dr. Berenberg.

It's hard to imagine that an injection into the eyeball would not hurt, but indeed it did not with the skill of this exceptional doctor.

Dr. Berenberg treats his patients with respect, not dictating, for example, notes while the patient is sitting there. He Is polite and considerate in addition to being superbly competent. He presents test results clearly and calmly. The frightening procedure of injections into the eyeball become markedly less so under his care.

Called the Eye Care Group with a possible retina issue. Within 90 minutes I saw Dr. Berenberg who is one of the vitreous/retina specialists. He meticulously examined my eye and confirmed that there tears in the retina from vitreous detachment. He patiently explained the problem and my options, strongly suggesting we do an immediate procedure to avoid retina detachment. The timely procedure proved quite successful saving me from a more extensive operation and recovery. An excellent doctor.
