Have seen him for years. Only doctor able to help with foot pain.

I have to say Dr. Barlis is very skilled and did care about my foot pain. I needed a cortisone shot, I thought it would hurt during and after, but it was almost painless. The pain that annoyed me for almost a year was gone after the shot, same day!. It is true that they require you to pay your deductible or copay in cash prior to seeing you, but I believe that is just the way he runs his business, and nothing to do with his skills. I recommend Dr. Barlis 100%.

I was referred to dr Barlis office for my diabetes foot problem by my endocrinologist in February so I called dr Barlis office and spoke to the receptionist to see if they took my insurance he said yes and I was asked to fax over my insurance information so he could make sure. He called me back later and said yes we take it and your Copay is $40.00. I later on made an appointment and saw the doctor in April. When I arrived he asked me for the $40 in cash, I paid and saw the doctor. Now I got a letter of denial from my insurance and they say the doctor was out of network. And I would be responsible for the full amount. This is not my fault since they asked for my card and called back and confirmed that they took my insurance.

Loved Dr Barlis!!! Walked in his office and was pleased with front desk associates! Then on my appointment day was inside in exam room very modern,very clean!!! Was greeted and introduced by Dr Barlis! Had an examination done- and what I loved about him even though I had clearly diagnoses ( before Dr Barlis- I ve seen 2 different Dr and without taken lab probe- they were giving diagnosis and were pushing for an expensive procedure) Dr Barlis was total opposite of my previous experience!! He made clear that with his practice for 33 years - something's might not be what it looked on outside!! I m very pleased with my experience!! Loved Dr Barlis!!! I arrived for my appt., was asked for the co-pay. I gave my debit card and was told they do not take debit/credit. I told them I didn't have cash and it would have been nice to be told when I made the appt. My foot was hurting me and I asked them to ask the doctor. The guy went in and when he came out said the doctor wouldn't see me without a $30 co-pay. I asked them to bill me, they said no. I would not recommend this doctor, he doesn't care if you are in pain, just about the money.
