I did not visit but I called to schedule an appointment for a second opinion, the receptionist shut my interest. She rushed me with no empathy what so ever. rushing to help person on another call. Dr. Wang you might want to train your staff in customer service and showing empathy. she chased me away from seeing you.

Four months ago I had a bilateral mastectomy and DIEP reconstruction surgery with Dr Wang. The care I received was amazing. Before, durning and after surgery, Dr Wang and her Associate, Dr Shih, were 100 % invested in me. Every question was answered, the procedure was explained, the pre and post op care covered and surgery preformed with great confidence. I had some other issues come up durning my recovery and Dr Wang called us immediately to offer advice. Dr Wang and Dr Shih even came to a different hospital to check on me and remove a drain. I was shocked by their attentiveness ( since I was not in the hospital where surgery took place and it was NOT their problem) and how concerned they were. Dr Wang became my advocate, called the attending doctor and reviewed my treatment. This was above any call of duty and my family and I so appreciated their concern, especially since no visitors were allowed in the hospital. Lastly, I would say I have total confidence in Dr Wang and if I ever need more surgery, she will be the person to do it. Thank you, Dr Wang!

On Dec 18,2020 Dr Wang did an incredible DIEP flap procedure on me. Everything went better than expected. During home recovery we called her twice to ask questions. Both times she called us back within 10 mins. She does phenomenal work and I could not be happier!

This was the worst experience of my life. I had a bilateral masectomy with Diep flap. They were ok with me to start but it from the surgery on it was a nightmare I still have PTSD from. After a 10 hour surgery, I had another emergency surgery due to swelling, then a blood transfusion the next day. Dr. Wang did not explain to me why all of this happened & barely checked on me. I waited all day on New Years Day to for Dr. Shi to come at 6:00pm & abruptly say I could be released without any pain meds. When I asked him where I could get pain meds since the hospital pharmacy was closed. I frantically searched for a pharmacy & only found one open. It was 30 minutes away & waited one hour in the car for my husband to get the medicine & then drove one hour home. I was in the worst pain of my life & incoherent. I did not trust them & didn't want to go back to their office but I couldn't get another surgeon to take me since it' wasn't their surgery. When I told Dr. Wang how upset by the way I was treated she said to 'get over it'. I left the hosptial with 4 drains. The first 3 were taken out in a few weeks, but the last one was 6 weeks! She said they had to be less than 5ccs and Christie from her office called me & said not to bother coming in if they were any more. I begged to come in because I was in pain & concerned that it may be infected. She told me to 'expect pain.' On another occasion when I asked to please show me some compassion, she said she had nothing to say to be & hung up on me! I informed Dr. Wang of all of this & she did nothing! The last straw was when I finally begged her to take out the last drain with tears running down my face & showed her all the open wounds that were starting from the insistions across my stomach. She said they were minor & to put some gauze on them. Within a week they got horribly worse & I demanded she see them. She again said it was minor & made me feel like I was overreacting. She did not provide any follow up & dismissed me. A few days later I had excessive bleeding from a seroma. I called my breast surgeon because Dr. Wang wasn't at all concerned. Fortunately my breast surgeon sent me to Wound Care at the hospital. Unfortunatley the wound did not heal for many months & they suggested I find a new surgeon. I did & my new surgeon has shocked at my torn up stomach with still open wounds. 4 1/2 months after surgery the last wound finally closed up. I have severe permanent scars. I have never in my life been treated so terribly and I had stage 3 breast cancer. I've been treated better having a tooth pulled. PLEASE don't go to this practice. I do not want anyone else to have to suffer like I did. Having Cancer is bad enough but to be treated subhuman is inhumane.

I had a bilateral mastecomy with Diep flap. It was the worst experience of my life. Dr. Wang & her staff treated me terribly. I was sent home from the surgery after a 10 hour surgery, emergency 2nd surgery, then blood transfusion without pain meds, was forced to keep a drain in for 6 weeks, hung up on & insulted by the staff & it took 4 1/2 months for the wounds to heal from the incisions across my stomach. I am still suffering PTSD. Please do not go to this practice.

I had a great experience with Dr Wang. I had a double mastectomy & breast reconstruction (with a diep flap). She did a fabulous job and I am very satisfied with my results and happy there was a better route for me than implants! She spent alot of time with me and she was very easy to contact any time during my recovery. I would highly recommend her!

Dr Wang and Dr Shih recently performed a bilateral Diep Flap surgery for me. I am very pleased with the results and with the care I have received. They show compassion along with their exceptional skill. I feel blessed to have found them after a failed reconstruction with another surgeon.

Dr. Wang and Dr. Shih are amazing, caring and extremely qualified. My reconstruction was exceptionally well done and I am so grateful for everything. Other surgeons said no when I asked for the DIEP flap and would have closed me right up when faced with the amount of abdominal scar tissue I had. Dr. Wang gave me what I wanted and needed to feel like me again. They sit beautifully and feel just as they did before cancer. I truly love them and their staff. They were a prayer answered. AWESOME!!

I had a great experience with Dr Wang. I had breast reconstruction (diep flap) after mastectomy. She did a fabulous job. Very engaged and concerned about her patients. Would highly recommend her!
