The doctor was early. He explained what he could tell from the xrays. Asked if I knew of the gel injections of which I knew nothing. He then explained the gel and recommended it then gave me the injection. I was out before my actual appointment time. Thanks

Dr Stringer is wonderful and an amazing doctor. He is respectful and kind to his patients which is rare these days. I just heard he is retiring. He will be greatly missed. I know they have other great doctors there, but I just love him he's a wonderful man and I just pray the best for him in his retirement.

Been seeing Dr Stringer for 20 years, highly recommended!! Best Ortho Doc around as far as I'm concerned!!

Very personable and very knowledgeable. I haven't been through the hip replacement yet because he has found out that the X-ray on my back has shown I need to take care of my back first, then I will have the hip replacement.

Dr. Stringer is quite personable and exudes appropriate confidence. He is thorough and knowledgeable. He is a good listener and has a vast knowledge.

My visit to Colorado Orthopedics Group went exactly as I hoped it would. After having x-rays of my hips taken, Dr Stringer reviewed them and determined the exact cause of my problem. I received two shots that immediately stopped the pain. I walked into the building in a lot of pain and walked out pain free

Dr. Stringer did a total hip replacement on me on October 6. Now, 6 months later, it has totally healed, benefited from physical therapy, and returned me to my normal life of gardening, hiking, and activity. I am thoroughly pleased with the efficiency of the Colorado Springs Orthopedic Group's operation and the quality of Dr. Stringer's work. I also had a knee replacement in 2018 with another of CSOG's surgeons and I plan to visit them about my hand. It's a 170 mile round trip for me to visit them from rural Colorado and worth every bit of the effort to be treated by this excellent group.

Dr Stringer performed what was supposed to be a routine hip replacement surgery on me October 2018. During the surgery he severed my sciatic nerve and I now have permanent pain and numbness. I have not felt the bottom half of my leg or foot for 3 1/2 years now. The pain I suffer with is agonizing and I have to wear a brace to be able to walk. I was so looking forward to being pain free with the new hip and I am now worse off than when I went in for surgery. I pleaded with him for help because this has caused quite the financial burden for me also. I have to take prescription pain medicine and the brace has to be replaced as it wears out. He couldn't care less. The whole experience has terribly impacted my life in so many ways I don't have the space to type it all. Please reconsider any surgery with him. I wouldn't wish this on anyone! I will suffer the rest of my life because of Dr. Stringer. (Have submitted reviews before but has been awhile)

I have seen Dr Stringer a few times. He was highly recommended to me by my previous Doctor, who retired. Will have a total hip replacement in a few days. It can only get better. I have full confidence in Dr.Stringer.

First visit: Doctor Stringer is very professional and listens to you. Feel confident with his experience and demeanor. Office is well organized. Went into exam room quickly after check in. Getting to solutions. Feel taken care of. Post Operation: It’s been almost 3 months since the surgery. I am doing great, been hiking starting at 6 weeks after surgery, still doing some exercises to strengthen a few muscles but otherwise pretty normal. Ready to be biking, swimming, etc. I’ve had a few surgeries in my life and this has been the best. Dr Stringer is great, explains and discusses whatever is needed or asked. The staff is helpful and caring. I just never sit in the waiting long. I would more than recommend Dr Stringer, I’d say get over there , get it done and be ready to feel really well. What I loved was that they take XRays right on the spot. Dr. Stringer did and excellent job of going over the Xrays and then coming up with a future plan on dealing with the issues.

Gone from not being able to walk half a block without pain to being able to hike where I want. I still have a few issues ( 3 months out ) with swelling and total flexion, but nothing that keeps me from doing what I like. I would certainly recommend Dr. Stinger's expertise.

I have been a patient of Dr.Stringer for 20 years. He is a friend & colleague as well as my ortho doctor. He replaced my right hip -almost 20 years ago & it is still getting me around well!!! I will certainly miss him if he retires one of these days!! Thanks Doc!!

My knee replacement with Dr.Stringer was life changing. No arthritis, no falling , no more pain. Truly are thankful to him & the care received in his office.

When I went to Dr. Stringer I had arthritis in both hips and could barely walk. He explained what the problem was and what could be done to fix it. I since have had my left hip replaced and feel like I've gotten my life back. Dr Stringer followed up on my progress and kept me informed of benchmarks. Doctor Stringer is a great hip guy. My wife saw him a couple years ago and he found the problem and now she's great and now hes found the problem I've had and hopefully I'll be healing up soon

Bit of a wait but staff very professionally and cheerful.Dr. Stringer did a good review of my tests and told me the results. Then I was given a shot in my right hip area. Later that day I found that I did have some reduction in pain.

Dr. Stringer is a compassionate, professional, and skilled surgeon. He listens well and fully understands my needs to delay my knee replacement, and has been great at providing cortisone shots in the interim.

Dr Stringer replaced both my knees back in 2004 and I have been happy with the result. Now that the knees are 17 years old, when I felt a "knocking" in my left knee, I went in to get it checked. Dr. Stringer did a thorough exam with xrays and a physical exam followed by blood work (Sed Rate along with a couple other tests) He took the time to explain that what I'm feeling is not a failure in the knee and I'm now comfortable with the knee. CSOG is a great place. For a place so busy, I was very impressed at how fast I was able to get an MRI and follow up appointment. Dr. Stringer was very professional and I look forward to getting a plan to treat my hips.

My appointment was scheduled to be a follow up for my knees by he was good enough to also take an xray of a hip that was bothering me. I have been going to Dr Stringer for years and have always found him to be caring, thorough, and kind.

UC Health Orthopedic clinic....The staff was unable to fulfill requests to my prior doctor for medical records and MRI after repeated assurances that they would do so before the next appt three weeks away....Dr. Stringer was upset that there was no follow through for his new patient and I volunteered to follow up with prior MRI clinic etc... So a wasted appt that was clearly staff and not doctor related. Somewhat clear evidence that the clinic is processing too many things to do a thorough job.....there is always quite the crowd at the UC Health office! Very kind staff people but either understaffed or trying to process to many patients. Dr. Stringer himself was thorough, professional, set proper expectations for what could be done....the surgery went well though they had me in for 2.5 hours waiting....when there is not much logistical planning there is seldom much degree of certainty so doctors offices staff overcompensate by making you come in with little to any regard to the patient. Any doctors office should be held to a for its logistics. Dr. Stringer is better than his clinic.....and still should be considered for anything knee surgery related.....vast experience....competent and kind. My outcome was an improvement and it continues to heal every week as he told me to expect.
