All the staff that work there and my doctor takes care of my needs and explain everything to me. Good job.

Great Doctor. He really listens to his patients. He will go all out his way to accommodate the needs of his patients.

Dr. Kopp is kind, attentive and always ready to do whatever it takes to keep you as pain-free as possible , while looking for ways to improve the quality of your life. I thank God for him every day.

Wait was a tad long today. I have been with pain management for many years with several different doctors. Dr. Kopp is the best.

I am the patient and always have had a long wait time. I try to treat others the way I want to be treated therefore I expect the same from others. Nobody smiles or acts friendly in the office.

I got good news. X-ray of my hips reviled no further worsening since the last X-ray from the last time. 2 or 3 years ago.

Dr Kopp is very professional and is very knowledgeable in is business. Dr Kopp is easy to talk to and when asked a question answers in a way that you understand his response.

NSAJC is a very nice facility. The people who work there are professional, courteous, and friendly. Dr. Kopp is a wonderful doctor with a great disposition. I would definitely recommend NSAJC!

Been a patient since 2015. Staff is friendly, professional, compassionate and caring. Love that I've been seeing the same faces all these years. That says alot about the facility and their practice.

Had my first epidural by Dr. Kopp on 3/23/23. "Shirley" completely eased my anxiety during registration. Dr Kopp kept me informed throughout the procedure as to what was taking place and his nurse was attentive and kept my mined at ease. I highly remember Dr Kopp. His entire staff is phenomenal.

Dr. Hites is always warm and welcoming and remembers things about you outside of coming to see him. He will ask about how your vacation was etc…He listens to your concerns and doesn’t interject while you are talking. He will go over your concerns and work with you so you feel comfortable about your treatment plan. I can’t say enough good things about Neuromuscular Spine and Joint Center. I feel at home here and that is rare these days with people in health care rushing through your appointment to see the next patient.

Wonderful staff

Awesome staff!!

I always get excellent service at Dr Kopp’s office.

The nurses and staff is always very pleasant caring and encouraging great atmosphere.

My primary care physician sent me to dr. Kopp's office the doctors here did a excellent job however after taking a urine screen going back two weeks later and receiving pain medication I feel a lot better but come to find out my insurance company will not pay them and now I'm stuck with a bill for $1,300 I am on total disability and a fixed-income now I have no idea how I am going to pay them I wish someone would have let me known that I was responsible for the bill before they let it get so high the doctors there are great but I can't see them if I can't pay them and no one told me about it untill my bill was 13 hundred dollars hopefully they will work with me somehow on this bill so I can continue to receive the care I need I'm praying for an answer and so far no one has even called me back but it is Mardi gras will wait and see.

Great customer service, from check in to exiting the building. Don't know names but you can check my records and see who all took care of me. Great customer service.

Everyone in the office was very nice I didn't see the doctor today but saw Harley one of his PAs. I really liked her. The office was very clean and organized.

Dr. Kopp and his staff have helped me tremendously!! Not just as a chronic pain patient. But the overall quality of my life as a whole. Quick, easy, nice, and it works. Great group. I have to say that I read many of the complaints below. Most of them are related to the docs following the laws of the State of Alabama and they cannot be broken or t he docs lose their license to practice. They informed me of all these rules before they treated me. They also helped me find a pharmacy that could fill my prescription when all the big pharmacies were running out of it. They have kept me working in a very physical job despite numerous problems with my body. They are efficient, effective and always answer my questions that are submitted through their portal by the end of the day. They cannot just answer the phone because they are with other patients! Read the rules, don't expect them to change for you because they simply cannot, keep your appointments, and just let them know you need other options if things are not controlling your pain.

Pain Management is a joke of a medical field. They treat everyone expendable. The field of medicine used to be a reputable field of science, now since extensive Government involvement it's just a place where reason and logic and compassion go to die, amongst extreme beaurocratic apathy towards the very patients they are supposed to be helping.

First of all the PA spent more time with me than Dr. Kopp. I was there for debilitating back pain which has me using a cane, walker, and wheelchair. I needed my pain medication refilled but he refused. I started to cry and begged him to help me. So then he said to even be considered for more refills I would have to see their therapist and get an evaluation. So it looks weeks to see the therapist and she was a joke. After meeting with her I had to go to two websites and fill out stuff, then I would be considered for more pain medication. So I went to the websites and could not even get logged in so I called their office and ask to speak with the therapist but had to leave her a message. It has been weeks and still waiting on her to call me. This place is awlful and only wants your money plus the staff re rude especially Dr. Kopp and the therapist. Worst Dr and PA ever. The doctor does not talk to his patients he looks at his PA And asks him. The PA was a smart a- - and gave inaccurate information and wouldn’t even give me a second to talk. Yes he prescribed meds but there’s no way I would ever go back.

Love Dr. Kopps and his staff. Dr Kopps, Dr Hitts, his PA, and staff are amazing . I love them. I have been with Dr Kopps for about 4-5 years and I am very pleased with him. I don’t often see Dr Kopps but the other doctor and PA are just as good. They take the time to answer all my questions and discuss a pain relief plan that I can follow. They are a caring team and they strive to give the best healthcare they possibly can. Patients have to follow the strict rules of not getting any pain relief narcotic meds from other doctors and when you do make a mistake for the first time he will council you and make sure you understand and give you another chance. Why? Because he is a caring doctor who wants to help you and that is his job so it’s nothing wrong with him making a living doing so. Why even do pain management if you are hateful to all the patients. Apparently none of them have ever had to deal with chronic pain. Everyone who comes through the door is a junkie. When you call them out on their failures they punish you fire you as patient and laugh at you. I will be praying for them.

I just left from my second visit to this horrible place that my primary care physician recommended. The male nurse practioner is the worst of all. I was very upfront and honest with him about my situation. I saw a woman nurse practioner on today's visit. She prescribed a pain patch. Immediately after leaving my visit, the male nurse practioner calls me and asked me if I called him a liar. This is my livelihood. We are not in kindergarten. I'm not sure what communication hot mixed up, but they surely didn't give me a chance to figure out what he was talking about. He overspoke me while on the phone. 1 hour and 40 minute drive to sit there and wait 2 hours and 55 minutes-he provides no treatment that I couldn’t get at an urgent care. Rude. Uncaring-not ever going back. Don’t have time for this.

Went for first visit evaluation. Tell my history to lady PA. after I finished she was rude and started telling me wasn't the fact about referral from my family practice dr and didn't believe me that I wasn't under care of Dr and was only seeing a PA at AOC

Not really sure why Dr. Kopp got such low reviews? Their staff was fine. Alex who took my temp and all that was cool. Ms. Harley was excellent. She was straightforward with the planning and very informative. I learned a lot of new things. Can’t say enough about her. I saw Dr. Kopp for a short period of time but only because we were still trying to figure things out but seemed nice. If I wasn’t moving back home I would have stayed with them. People need to understand these are powerful drugs and their careers are on the line if something happens so as long as you are doing what they say you’ll be just fine. Unfortunately I’m going back home but thanks Dr. Kopp and real big thanks to Ms. Harley! Oh the girl at the front desk helped me too because I missed my appt and came in the next day because I confused the dates and she still got me in so big thanks to her!

Actually Wylie Arnett ........was disappointed in the wait times 1 to 2 1/2 hours thought that was crazy Then with everything going on other then PT & a few pain pills no real plan - I guess I was thinking maybe a procedure was needed. I've had multiple injuries & overwhelmed ...... underprescribed at the time PA didn't want to hear it when I self reported- got back in basically begged DR. Kopp to keep me on as a patient - he said well is there anything else we can do for you - I said yes help fix me - he gave me a prescription for water aerobics- which after sitting/standing in waiting room for another 45 minutes after 2 hour initial wait - I was like I'm outta here ........... here is the deal - they have to many patients- this is really just a low dose pill accountability clinic - they don't have time to be doctors or PA's they are just for accountability to the new opioid laws in Alabama ( reduction by all means ).......... This doctor and his assistant got my son addicted to opioids. They did not wing him off they just stop writing prescriptions. Uncaring staff and doctor they never returned my phone calls! The staff is great, but because I was working out of town and I wasn’t able to make all my appointments, they just cut me off! I got laid off and lost my insurance, they charged me 500 one time and 450 the next, and then told me they would never see me again without insurance! What kind of doctor does that?

Where to begin with this review? My father was referred to see this practice for pain management. The staff is nonexistent, no one will actually answer your call or return a message, they will schedule you for an appointment, but do not bother contacting the patient to inform them that they've cancelled or rescheduled the appointment. Further, force you to take a medication that the patient simply cannot afford and has severe side-effects, and care less to discuss with the patient alternative medications or treatments, or show any real concern about their patients' safety and well-being. This office is absolutely careless with their patients, all they are looking for is to make a quick buck and help No body. My father inlaw was recommended to this place for pain management he's in his mid 60's and has had multiple surgeries over the years including a prosthetic hip that has been in for over 21 years. I ask you this, when a mid 60's grown man is crying in pain and can't walk, and you accuse him of being a drug addic and emotionally depressed and don't offer him any help, besides telling him he needs to see a psychiatrist. First I'm going to state the obvious, IF U ARE REALLY SICK, IN PAIN, OR POOR DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!! I have been going to him for a few months, and my last visit I was completely rejected because I didn't have the co-pays due to an emergency that happened earlier in the week. This doctor ad his PA's don't listen. I was out of my meds which is narcotic based and stopping them completely is dangerous. He refused to re-write my prescription or even see me unless I got blood out of a stone. I had a panic attack outside his office and crying and they called the COPS on me!! Very unprofessional. How can a doctor's office NOT recognize a panic attack and call an ambulance?!?! This doctor and his clinic don't care, all they want is money. The staff is kind and caring even during overwhelming situations. They have worked with me, not against me in figuring out the best care for me and my medical needs.

I have been seeing Dr. Kopp for 6 months. When I first started seeing him I could hardly walk because of back and hip pain. He and his staff have worked with me very professionally. He got me on a medication regiment and got me into physical therapy. Now I can walk (with a walker) and do small chores at home. Dr. Kopp and his staff have helped me get part of my life back. I highly recommend him to everyone who is serious about improving their lives. Thank you all very much!

I always felt uncomfortable when I visit, the staff was never nice to me. The nurse always claimed I were misusing my meds , when I bring them in as ordered, my count always added up correctly, I be thinking some times they may have my chart as a different patient or they just didn’t like me for who and what I am., I was planning on finding a new pain management doctor, then COVID-19 hit and I lost work and insurance, so I went months without treatment dealing with server pain .god Finally bless me to be able to pay for my own health insurance, and found a new pain management doctor 6+ months later, now Mrs Burns say she can’t give me the treatment I need due to Dr. kopp fired me. And that were some breaking news to me. This is why I’m giving him a 1 just as many times I seen him in 2 years., and stopping my future treatment due to his staff not doing they jobs by the book but by judgment.

Just like the others said Dr. Kopp and his PA are awful. Long waits and one time i was in a room waiting for Dr. No one showed up. I went into the hallway and to the front only to find everyone had gone to lunch and they forgot i was there. What a joke! I also was treated very poorly the few times i went there. It was obvious to me they just wanted my ins. money and co pays. Dr. Kopp is a money grubbing jerk.

I was with his office for over 5 years. I had to deal with his P.A. which always talked to me so rude. I looked up how to spot bad doctors and Bingo these folks fit the bill. Do your self a favor fine a real Doctor. These people don't about thier patients AT ALL!!

I've met kopp 1 time since I've been going, the 1 time I did meet him, he discontinued his service to me after I requested to discuss why they never wrote the prescription to help wing me off the meds they wrongfully took from me, but he didn't want to discuss that, it obviously wasn't important to him , he was ok that I never received the meds his office stated I needed for how unsafe it was too stop without taking anything else. They were fine putting my life at risk, they got caught in their several lies and he needed me gone before I got more evidence on them, he has never, nor his assistant, ever touched me in a appt,but in records, they've done all kinds of tests on me, they have put me a couple times a month going 2-3 days without pills for not sending them to rx. They didn't care at all about it, but they wrote up I was rude at my appt for asking questions about it. Told me to bring in my scripts before the next fill date, which I did, and they stopped my scripts. Even doctored the notes to make me look like a "druggy", even though pill count always accurate"These guys are the dirtiest doctors that practice medicine in Mobile. Attorneys investigating my recordings vs their notes,TRUST ME when I say, going to be interesting in explaining A LOT of discrepancies in their notes vs their voices on a recorder. I hope they actually get a little time to think about how many people they have screwed over, hopefully 5-10 years of thinking..... They are a disgrace to their practiceo and their families, I'd be embarrassed to be related to anyone in that practice. Dr. Kopp has been my doctor as long as he’s been in Mobile. He’s always treated me with the utmost respect. I love and respect him as well. Although I’m not too fond of seeing a PA I realize he’s extremely busy. His staff are always very professional and have always treated me with respect. He understands my situation is different from others. Patience is a virtue. As yes I’ve had to wait to see him. He’s my hero. I wish all my drs. Took as much time with me as Dr kopp has. My hats off to any dr these days that deals with the influx of patients he’s had to endure. I love this man and his staff. Thanks for all you do. Cindy

Dr.Kopp most definitely is the best pain specialist in Mobile Alabama or anywhere far as I'm concerned, he listens and has always helped me to understand more about what's going on with my health care, he's a very compassionate doctor as to your pain and does what he feels is best to help me and I appreciate him so much. I've been going to Dr.Kopp for about five years now and I'm here to stay, he's a wonderful person who truly cares about his patients and their quality of life and does everything humanly possible to help, if this doctor has a bad review from anyone it's because they don't try to understand that with the new laws about prescription medications he has guidelines he has to enforce I do understand that completely and I would tell anyone who needs a wonderful pain management doctor to make an appointment with him and just do as he ask he absolutely doesn't ask anything of you that he hasn't of me and that's to take your medication as directed,have your drug screening as ask and bring your medications with you at visits, he's human and not a mind reader so you have to talk to him about what's going on with your health, and he is concerned about all your health problems trust that. I would recommend Dr.Kopp to anyone having pain in their back,neck or hips, he's a very compassionate doctor who always puts his patients first, he's always been fair and understanding about the issues I have. I don't think he gets the credit he deserves and his staff have always been very nice to me. I've been seeing Dr.Kopp for a few years now and I think I will stick with him, he's a awesome doctor, I just love Dr.Kopp and his staff.

I would not take my dog to his office for care. I waited over 2 hours each time I had an appointment. Instead of helping me wean off my pain medicine (which he refused to refill), let me quit cold turkey. I almost died. I had a previous pain management Dr. who did not keep me waiting for my scheduled appointments. I also never had to use a patient portal to do everything. As my Dr. in Fl. is just as busy as Dr. Kopp seems to be, I was always treated with dignity, respect and compassion.

The PA was very rude and unprofessional, told me that if I couldn't wait 2 to 3 hours to see the doctor, then I didn't need to be there. What kind of person says that. The PA was Harley Oliver. Never go there if you need relief for pain, cause your not getting it. Billie , Alabama. Rude staff especially the “gatekeeper his PA”. I have never been spoke to with a such condescending arrogant staff.They need to be reminded they are there to serve the patients needs, based on valid medical reasons and not be judmental.

Dr. Cop and his staff for the worst worst people I've ever met they are not understanding they took my $25 which I needed to get my medical records and they decided to put $25 towards my bill which I only owed $60! He was very rude to my mother. He has Horrible people skills. One of the nurses gave my mother an injection and struck a nerve. She was in pain for months. He never took the time out to listen to anything my mother tried to talk to him about. He told my mom, “I stay in a hurry” and he walked away and never returned to the room while she was trying to talk to him. The receptionist are just as bad. This doctor discharged my mother due to her primary doctor prescribing her a medication that she didn't know was known as a "narcotic". My mom is elderly and tried to explain to the doctor that she was only following the direction of her primary doctor and didn't know the medication was against Dr. Kopp's policy. Now my mother is in pain while searching for another doctor. And what's crazy, she actually liked Dr. Kopp and spoke highly of him. I came to Dr. Kopp because of a workmens Comp injury. I always seen his assistant Dr. Hitt. The minute I refused to see Dr. Hitt because I chose Dr. Kopp was the Dr I chose. I had neck surgery Dr. Ronderos was in Pensacola and he did the surgery. Dr. Ronderos wasn't interested in my recovery and seemed very irritated in my slow recovery. That is when I started to see Dr.Kopp. He became rude and uninterested in my issues. When I told him I had a lawyer, he began to take a lot of notes. From then on every time i came in my urine was tested. I told them my pain was not being managed. They refused to make me comfortable. I then seen Dr. Hitt. He refused to adjust my meds. He told me I could get a 2nd opinion and I said we are( me and my atty) is when he told me this would b my last visit. They sent me my records and they eere very inaccurate. They lied and made all type of accusations that I failed urine test, didn't comply with rules ect. I will b writing a letter against his and Dr. Hitt license. They are very cruel and could care less about your health. As u can see their reciews are very low. That should tell u something!!! Love Dr. Kopp & PA Mike. They are easy to talk to & they do not rush while they are in the room with you. Love the nursing staff & the front office staff is great. Would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Kopp is very unprofessional. He claims my testI did comes back I Have not taken my prescribed medicine He gave me for the last 3 months. He should have studied more on norco and see it only stays in your system for 3 days. I am reporting him to the licensing board.

I’ve been going to Dr. Koop for over a year. At first I thought he was a Godsend. They listened and helped to get me the right medication for my pain. Now that my tolerance is higher and these medicines aren’t working anymore it seems like they just don’t want to hear it. Say they cannot do anything because of my depression issues. They do not understand that pain causes more depression. It is so bad now that I’m withdrawn from everyone, I don’t want to go anywhere or do anything. I just cry!

The most horrible decision I ever made I got told in a phone conversation that the dr wouldn't be writing my pain meds because I didn't have the right levels don't EVER go to this doctor he is horrible
