Went in with a few issues. My eye was swollen and obviously infected with staphylococcus aureus, discharge, red. I asked this person for antibiotic drops to get the infection under control. He refused and told me to put a compress on it. Two days later I have to go to ER at 4 am because my whole side of my head is now throbbing and I have a burning rash on my face and head. ER immediately diagnoses Herpes Zoster Opthalmicus. Shingles, in my eye. This is extremely time sensitive to treat with antivirals. End of the day, I now have lost about 10-15% of my vision in my left eye, blistering in my mouth has endangered teeth, and it looks like I may have permanent scarring on my face. Does this sound like a good experience to you? All due to refusal to treat an obvious infection, allowing it to compromise my immune system and here we are.

I had to see Dr. Cubbison when the Nurse Practitioner was unavailable once. He told me to "come back in 50 years" when my problem would "really bother" me. He must have thought he was being funny but he just came off as rude and uncaring.
