Dr. Thao Thi-Thanh Nguyen

Dr. Nguyen does not possess one shred of patience, kindness, or empathy--all skills necessary to be successful in pediatric dentistry. Our experience with her was unequivocally the worst, and I had to explain to my son for a long time afterwards that not all dentists are as cold and unfriendly as she was towards him. She immediately took a very harsh and impatient tone with my five year old son. He was fidgeting somewhat, but ultimately allowing her to examine him. She told me that when she fixed his cavities, she was not going to 'restrain him' and that if he didn't cooperate with her he would 'just have to go home with holes in his teeth.' Why she even mentioned that she could not restrain a child is beyond comprehension. This person does belong in pediatric dentistry. She'd be better suited for a position in the insurance industry. She does not appear to take any joy in working with children, and she is impatient and unkind. I would give her zero stars if possible.

I would highly discourage anyone to bring their children into the Brown County Oral Health to see this Dentist! She was extremely rude to me and my son. When taking your children into the Dentist, you would hope for a positive experience so they are not frightened the next time. This will not be my situation, my son is now terrified of going back to see the Dentist. It's a shame that someone helping children, treats children like this! DO NOT GO TO HER!

I called ahead to inquire if they would accept X-rays from another source and was told yes but once I showed up for the apt I was told they couldn't see me unless I had a full set done there. Of course I was angry then I was subjected to a lecture on medical malpractice ,how unprofessional and then one of the staff was extremely rude & interruptive. Also the paperwork was at least 13 pages long to even get an appointment. Rediculous redundancy.
