Dr King started treating my nephew David when he was 2 years old. David was born with 1 valve that did not work. By the time he was 16 years old because of strep, 1 of his "good" valves was damaged. Dr King had relocated to New Orleans & in 1990 Dr King & Dr Mills performed open heart surgery on David replacing 2 valves & repairing an Aortic Aneurysm. David is now 49 years old & loves Dr Terry King & Dr Mills dearly as does his Family. We will be eternally grateful to God & thankful to & for these 2 men!! ???????? Dr. King and his staff are AMAZING!!!. They treated us like we were part of the family. His PA, Anna, is absolutely wonderful. Very knowledgeable and professional. Dr. King and the entire office staff are beyond amazing. They all go above and beyond to make my child comfortable with all the test they have to do. Dr. King's nursing staff and US techs have so much patience with him and play around with him to get him calm and cooperative. Dr. King is very informative and explains things to where we can easily understand them and what's going on. Dr. King calls himself "Paw-Paw King" to my son. He always make sure we understand everything and answers all our questions before the visit is over. We usually are there waiting for a while, but I know it's because they are taking their time with each and every patient. I'd be concerned if we were rushed through a pediatric cardiology appointment. I feel like everyone there truly cares. Dr. King and the entire office staff are beyond amazing. My son was diagnoised with Friedreich’s Ataxia at the age 13 years old. We were referred to Dr. King because FA patients are at risk of having heart problems. He was under Dr. King’s care and during those visits we were told my son’s heart was enlarged and there was significant thickness to the walls of his heart. Many visits over the course of 6 years included long visits with ECG, Holter monitorings, CT tests, etc. which were all quite expensive, but were told had to be done. We were made to believe that his heart was in serious condition and had believed this for years. Since moving my son has been unde the care of another Cardiologist team, yestereday after his testing the Cardiologist informed us that my son must have been misdiagnosed and that his heart was in the normal range. This could be a miracle that his heart is normal now or perhaps we needed to seek a second opinion when we were using Dr. King. Can’t help but wonder if my son’s disease was a open opportunity to make money from us and our insurance company. I’m not accusing him, but I am left to wonder after hearing his test results from his new Cardiologist. I’m writing to say use caution when you go with a certain physician because when you have a child who has a devastating illness you can be very vulnerable and naive because you are worried and scared and want the best care for them. Dr. Terry King is the best doctor, not just heart doctor, I've ever had!!! I wish I could find an adult cardiologist as good as him!!

He's been my heart doctor since I was 2 years old and I'm now 18. I used to get a checkup every two years. He is so kind and smart and he played a very big role in my life. The absolute best doctor around!

I've been a patient of Dr. King's since I was 11 years old. I'm 27 now. He is by far the most amazing Doctor I've ever met! I would trust him with my children in a heartbeat. When it comes to my cardiac care I never make a decision without discussing it with him first. I highly recommend him!!

Dr. King has treated several of my families children.. No one else I would rather have for my babies.. Great Dr. And super bed side manner with kids and their parents.. Worth the waitzz

I absolutely love Dr. King. My son even loves him. The staff is really friendly and they make it not so scary for my 2 year old son.

Dr. King is the best doctor around. He is very attentive, knowledgeable, and follows up on everything. He knows so much but can explain it to parents so they understand. Love this doctor!
