Dr. Terrill Burnworth

Very rude, need to practice bedside manners each and every time I have seen him he has been very rude to me and did not listen to my concerns at all. He told my mother it was a dishonor to bring me to the ER and discharged me. I went to childrens and they admitted me immediately.

Very rude. Horrible bedside manners. Told my mom it was a dishonor that she brought me into the er for sever abdominal pain. Did not testing whatsoever and sent me home. I went to children’s and they admitted me.

My 24 y/o daughter was just seen a few hours ago by Dr. B. She had been seen last Tuesday 5/7/19 and was told to get in touch with her surgeon's office. He is not able to see her until 5/28/19. Meantime sees her PCP, they TOLD HER SHE HAD A SMALL BOWEL OBSTRUCTION. Took her off food, said water only. Contacts surgeons office again as she didn't understand THIS MIGHT BE URGENT.I stress MIGHT. Paperwork was lost, but finally found. Surgeon's office got the paperwork. Called my daughter 5/10/19 stating Dr. S. felt waiting to see him until 5/28 was fine. HOWEVER, both the PCP's office and surgeon's office told her if she feels more pain or worse to head to ER. This afternoon, 5/13 she still has a lot of pain, feels awful. THIS DR TREATED HER LIKE A DRUG ADDICT!!!!! They put an IV in and he said take it out. She TRIED to explain to him the entire situation, HE WOULD NOT LISTEN. Very, very rude, mean. She was treated terribly by him. Even told her she didn't have what the PCP's report said she had as far as diagnosis. He said he would call his friend "Brent". Why. Read a report she's been given diff info about 2-3 times.Dr. Burnworth, you are a very poor misjudge of character and need to find someplace besides Newark to work.
