Wasted my time going here. Dr Henson took one look at the problem area on my skin (that is Highly inflamed, red, blistered that's caused ulcers on my skin) and says " I can't help you", ???? are you serious? My PCP referred me to see Doctor Henson because the PCP wanted me to have a biopsy of the problem area. This Doctor "can't help me" because my skin has caused an open ulcer and she thinks it's caused by pressure! So instead of helping me she referred me to a wound Doctor! The Wound Doctor wants me to see a Dermatologist so I can prevent anymore ulcers! This was a total waste of my time & waste of gas! Wasted my time going here. The receptionist working on 1/24/22 with a red bandanna on her head was very rude; lacks good customer service skills. I stood at the front desk to sign in for about 45 seconds; she did not acknowledge my presence. I lightly tapped on the plexiglass to get her attention, she held up her index finger and said I will be with you in one second, as if I was a bother to her in that moment. She returned to looking at an insurance card and tapping on the keyboard. She ignored me, the customer standing in front of her to tap on a keyboard. Once she finished tapping on the keyboard, she gave me paperwork to complete. No greeting/hello, how can I help you…nada. And this is the first person of contact at the facility. In walks another lady behind me of a different ethnicity and she happily greets her and asks how can I help you? I understand we all get busy at times on the job, but good customer service and competence are what it takes to sustain a business this day and age; every time, every customer. I have patronized this business for well over 3 years. Needless to say, I will not be back. I refuse to spend my hard earned dollars at an establishment where my presence as the customer is not acknowledged nor appreciated. The whole staff was very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Henson is also very friendly. I only had to sit in the waiting room for about 3 minutes before they called me back. Once in the back it wasn’t very long before Doc came in. She took care of my issues and I was on my way. One of the very best experiences I have ever had in a Drs office. Most definitely recommend Dr. Henson and will continue to use her.

The absolute best service. Dr. Caroline is amazing as well as all the staff!!

My husband asked me to leave this review on his behalf. He had a great experience! The staff were excellent, attentive and made him feel very welcome in the office. All of his questions and concerns were addressed. Thanks for providing such good care!

I am very glad Dr. Henson opens the last Friday of every month for patients who don’t have the insurance she accepts. She charges $40. I have called a lot of dermatologists, including her, for the past year trying to get an appointment and offer to pay cash, but none of them would see my grandson because of his Mississippi State insurance. I would think if the state decides a kid needs insurance they would at least make it work for dermatologists and all other doctors. She diagnosed his skin condition within minutes when no other doctor, even LeBonheur doctors did not know what it was and how to treat it. Saw Misty Moore many years ago to get a cyst removed from my calf and ended up with staphylococcus infection in my whole leg and wound up with a bad, wide scar. She is with another clinic now and they offered me an appointment with her and after all this time I remembered her name and am scheduling with someone else.

Can't comment on the medical service because they make it impossible to book an appointment. I have been trying for over a week to get an appointment. When you call, they don't answer. It goes directly to a voicemail and you have to wait for a call back that can take hours. The line doesn't sound busy, rather its just set up for you to leave a voice mail and get called back no matter what. If you're not able to answer, then you have to call back and leave another voicemail to get called back yet again. They have an online thing to fill out for appointment booking but never heard back either by phone nor email (did the process twice). It actually WORKS!!! I found a miracle and I’ve struggled with acne for years trust me it actually works just be consistent????

Physician Assistant Barry was helpful and reassuring during my visit. I will return to this facility with any future skin issues I may have.

My wife felt the same as others very rushed and it was all about money(which she paid and insurance paid and they still have not refunded her money). Will definitely be looking for a more professional caring dermatologist group.

I’ve always had great visits with this clinic!

Dr Henson is a great Doctor and her staff are kind and attentive. I feel comfortable there and never is there a wait. She is always concerned about any side effects the medicine may cause. I’ve seen great improvement in my condition since I’ve been visiting her office. I recommend anyone with skin problems to visit her office. They will be pleased with the results

Everyone is so kind. I love that the wait time is short. I have seen Dr. Henson as well as a couple of the nurse practioners and have always felt they are very caring. They explain things and answer questions in a way that is easily understood. Both of my parents were also patients there and they both loved Dr. Henson.

Dr Henson is very professional and caring. She and staff are friendly and show great concern I have been seeing them now for over twenty years. If they have too they will send you to another specialist for treatment depending on the situation you have. She and her staff have helped me and my two sons with our skin cancers so many times. I recommend to everyone !

Dr. Henson removed a cyst from the facial area of a family member in November 2018. After removing the cyst she instructed the patient it was okay to apply makeup, etc. to just apply Vaseline & cold compress to the area for a couple of days. The area became infected in less than a week & a follow-up appointment was made. Dr Henson said the area was just fine, to apply some Vaseline and continue as normal. My family member is now being treated for an infection in the hospital. Won't be back!

Coming here was one of my best decisions.

I and my wife have been patients of Dr Henson for over 20 years. We have been so pleased with her and her staff, that 4 generations of our family are seen by her. The staff is great; very accommodating, and friendly. I would recommend her ,or any of her staff, with out reservation. David C Daleke

I am very disappointed with the lack of care my daughter and I received at this clinic. The negligence and misinformation is astounding to me. It’s a good thing that I didn’t give up looking for answers, because I certainly did not receive any here!

This Dr. Charges a $25.00 fee for missing an appointment. Be aware of this. I have been very busy and forgot my Dr. visit, I called to apologize and make a new one but was told I would have to pay a fee of twenty-five dollars for no show. Oh my word! Dr's allready make big money give us little guys a break will ya!!!!!! It is their policy. ???????????????????????????????????????????????????? I have been coming to this clinic for 2 years for treatment of my acne and HS. Everytime I come the waiting is very minimum if any at all. I also love that any questions or concerns that I have about my treatment, that they always take the time to explain everything to me. I have seen Dr. Henson, Misty and Danielle and they all very welcoming and friendly as well as the staff. The office is always clean and tidy. Dr. Henson and FNP Misty Moore have been my dermatologist for the past ten years, and I'm extremely pleased with the professionalism and competency of their services. The staff is helpful and the time in the waiting room is short. I've recommended them to multiple friends and coworkers who were pleased.

She barely looked at my child's face and kept insisting he take his shirt off even though I had informed the nurse and the doctor herself my child has autism. I also told her he has no acne on his chest or back and offer to pull that shirt up so she could see. She barely acknowledged my child. Not a good match for an ASD child. The best part was at checkout they decided to inform me that they don't bill secondary insurance. Something that should've been discussed upon making the appt!

No stars. I didn't want to give this doctor any stars but the review wouldn't post unless I gave her at least one. I have never had such a dreadful experience in a doctor's office. I think that Dr. Henson must have learned her bedside manners from the Nurse Cratchett school of tea and sympathy! She walked in the room and with the coldest of mannerism asked me what was wrong; said that insurance would not cover it and was headed out the door before I could get a word out. When I asked about a mole that I thought might be cancerous because it was bleeding and painful, she said would remove it only if I was willing to pay $160. I agreed since it was particularly troubling and in a place where it was getting a lot of irritation. She spent less than 30 seconds removing it and told me I was free to leave. I am now looking for a new dermatology clinic that exhibits professionalism, concern and courtesy. This certainly isn't it! No stars. I didn't have to wait long to be taken back to a room, and that's the only positive part of my visit. I was called back at the same time as another patient and put in a room, where I sat for a few minutes after being asked a few questions. I was visiting to have a mole looked at and for acne treatment, so I was asked to take my shirt off and put on the paper smock. Before I could get the smock on, Dr. Henson barged in the room without even knocking. She barely glanced at my mole, even when I tried to explain my dad is currently dealing with squamous and basil carcinoma. She then looked at my face, and said "yeah, you have some acne with inflammation" and prescribed me an antibiotic and cream. So she spent about 2-3 minutes in the room with me, and was very rushed, almost rude. I know there's testing that can be done to determine the type and cause of acne, but she never offered to do anything else. Basically, I paid my copay to be told what I already knew I had. So, when you're in the waiting room, you have a television that is going on and saying things like, if you have a mole that gets larger or changes color, seek a dermatologist quickly to have it removed and sent off to see if it's precancerous. I get in the room and she comes in and literally spent like 30 seconds. She took one look and goes, oh no that's fine. Measured it for the girl to give me a quote for the removal. Wait...what? Then tells me to have it removed is considered cosmetic and that she'll quote me on how much to remove it. $190.00 + my copay. Uh...what? Meanwhile my coworker is across town in Memphis having 10 of them removed from her face for FREE. I'm going to get a second opinion. The staff and her office is more focus on insurance than the issues. They will not even schedule an appointment unless you have the right insurance. Although my insurance was valid and in network, they were too focused on getting paid than the issue. The service in the office was absolutely awful. I wouldn't recommend her office to anyone.

Both Dr. Henson and Misty Moore are caring and professional. I had two appointments (months apart), and I was seen within 10 minutes of my appointment each time.

Not sure about the other reviews here...but I called at the last minute and they got me in right away to see Dr. Jennifer Stone, which is unheard of these days. She must be a newer partner because i don't see her on their website yet so you might want to ask for her specifically. My only wait was to fill out paperwork as a new patient so no complaints there. Everyone who helped me was polite and they seemed to truly care about my experience and the facilities were very clean and neat. Jennifer was awesome - everything was explained in detail and they even called in my prescription - that's also unheard of these days. Usually you are sent out of the door with a piece of paper. I was truly amazed with their service and will definitely see her again! I am echoing the sentiments of “A Google User” from a year ago. I wish that I would have seen and read her review sooner. Because my experience at Dermatology Clinic was so bad, I began looking for a place to vent my frustrations and hopefully help someone avoid this so called dermatology medical care clinic. I had an appointment with Jeannie Lewis, PA. I was told by the appointment setter that the PA was capable of doing everything including diagnosing and treating conditions just like the doctor. Jeannie Lewis was nice, but, after having a biopsy and getting the results back from the lab, I never received any treatment for my condition and the she (the clinic) would not return my phone calls. That place is a joke! They just took my money (copay and insurance payment), gave me the lab results and did not treat my condition or even diagnose it. I don’t believe Ms. Lewis is a real medical professional, because she did not diagnose or treat my condition. I do not believe she knows what she is doing from a medical standpoint and that’s why she’s not returning my phone calls. She doesn’t know what to do. I am very upset with this clinic. They have wasted my time, prolonged my illness, and hindered me from receiving real treatment. I would not recommend this clinic to my worst enemy! The treatment and service is poor.
