Dr. King is a terrific Board Certified GI doctor. Her staff is excellent also. Barbara Hart (Board Certified also) is an extremely knowledgeable nurse practitioner and has shared a lot of useful information with me.

Barbara is Board Certified, graduated magna cum laude and has a master’s degree-very impressive!

Called to make an Appointment for severe shoulder pain. Receptionist said new patience's are scheduled 2 months out.

Two years ago my mom was diagnosed for a totally unexpected stage III B colon cancer. I wanted to take a colonoscopy test ever since. My primary care doctor referred me to Dr. King but I was never able to make an appointment. Left several voice message and never got any reply. This year I asked for another doctor and you know what, after waiting for 2years I still got Dr. King. She is great, during the entire procedure the only impression she gave me is the old saying about care givers: To cure sometimes, to relieve often, to comfort always. Dr. King is knowledgeable, thorough and an excellent doctor. She takes the time to explain carefully the results of tests, their implications and options going forward. Compassionate and caring. Takes a personal interest in your well being. I have had ongoing questions and concerns and she is always available. Wait for it....Dr. King called me after I had a procedure with ANOTHER doctor to see how things went. She is 6 stars!! That is the first time in my life a doctor has done that.

I get so tired of self important doctors who think your time has no value but only theirs does. I tried to make an appointment to have a consultation with Dr King. Her nurse said I needed a referral. I said I did not need another doctor to tell me it was alright to go see Dr King I'm able to make those decisions myself. I was told that was their policy. I said then I have called the wrong doctor. Flummoxed by the negative reviews by folks who have never visited with Dr. King. I've been her patient for 20 years, and she's just tremendous. Very knowledgable and, as important, very easy to talk with.

Dr. Teresa King performed my colonoscopy last week. She demonstrated the utmost professionalism. Her bedside manner was kind, gentle and compassionate. My family practitioner recommended her as "the best" when it comes to a colonoscopy. Her schedule was booked out quite far, but I'm glad I decided to take my doctor's recommendation. Most people don't look forward to a colonoscopy, but my experience with Dr. King was the best it could have been. Her staff was great as well. Very easy. Thank you! The low ratings are from people who have never been her patient. I've had two colonoscopies with Dr. King and have had very good experiences both times, and highly recommend her. I called her office recently, and although the phone rang more than a dozen times, a real person eventually answered and another real person, Jody, scheduled my next appointment, although I understand the frustration of the people who said they called and never got a call back. I've had that problem of waiting for a callback from my regular doctor and orthopedic surgeon, but not from Dr. King. The staff has always been very friendly as well. Dr King has been my GI specialist for 20 years. Very willing to listen ad work with you help. Very knowledgeable.

Listened to my concerns, and offered ways she and her staff would work so as to respect me and my concerns about the upcoming procedure.

Dr. King is professional and highly competent. She shows much care and compassion to her patients. I feel completely confident in her care of me as a doctor.
