Dr. Singh and I have been doctor and patient for over four years. He is organized, highly skilled at prescribing and tweaking medication for me in the treatment for bipolar disorder. I like that he makes a plan to treat me. He gives me my personal agency when discussing medication changes. Dr Singh reminds me of a caring, compassionate doctor who listens well, takes my concerns as reality-based, even when they are fears I might have. He is true blue, honest, highly intelligent and expresses his concerns clearly. He discusses my expectations clearly, takes me seriously. Dr. Singh demonstrates his caring attitude to all his other patients as well. It is not an easy path for people with mental health issues. Too often, people with mental health issues are discredited and abandoned by doctors who misunderstand them However, Dr. Singh’s many behaviors and talents he shares with patients proves to me that It is a true blessing having him as my psychiatrist since 2017. Thank you!!

Terrible. Don't go

I struggled with my mental health problems for over a decade. Dr. Singh helped me get it right in my brain. For my first appointment he gave me lot of his time. I have seen psychiatrists before but he was very detailed. He corrected my diagnsois and formulated the path going forward. After few months I got so much better. He carefully crafted treatment and always gave me clear explanations. Highly recommended.

Dr. Singh is unmatched in his field. I have worked with him for over a year and he has taken the time to get to know me in a way that improves our decision-making about the best way to treat my symptoms. He takes my concerns about weight gain seriously and has given many suggestions about lifestyle changes that have made each day better. Dr. Singh truly goes above and beyond. I have seen many psychiatrists, and he is the only one who has invested the time to understand how to best treat me. I’ve been blown away by his level of care. Highly recommend!

I started seeing Dr. Singh a years ago. He treated me for life long depression and anxiety. He treated me with respect, professionalism and took great care of me. He showed me hope and managed my depression. I am forever thankful to him for is attention and services. Highly recommend if you are suffering from depression.

By far one of the worst experiences I had, especially when trying to learn more about my condition and negative symptoms I was experiencing with medication. His apathetic attitude and lack of concern to listen to patient concerns is just disappointing and would highly advise to not see this doctor. He showed no interested in explaining why my symptoms were occurring and rather angrily dismissed me. Not what you want to encounter when you are simply trying to learn what is happening to your body

I moved to Virginia 3 years ago and I have seen 4 different psychiatrist before I met Dr. Singh. He is outstanding, his approach is very caring and systematic. I understood my depression, he explained the biology of it and discussed treatment options with me. I am very thankful and happy I found him.

He is a very bad doctor. Although he isn’t knowledgeable, he does not have any bedside manner. He made me cry since he is so mean. He is not compassionate and doesn’t care about his patients.

Incredibly flaky and hard to work with. At one point, he cancelled an appointment only two hours before it was scheduled and then took almost a week to call me back to reschedule.

I would not recommend to Dr. Singh to anyone. I was stuck with this Doctor for years due to limited options. He doesn’t explain his course of treatment well nor does he listen to his patients. Expect to wait at least 20 minutes past your scheduled appointment time. Only see this doctor if you are prepared to commit to whatever treatment he thinks is best for you. There are surely much better psychiatrists out there.

Dr. Singh is knowledgable in his field and answers all of my questions, though it seems that he takes on too many patients or just isn't good with time management.

He is the best psychiatrist that I have ever seen. He listens well and explains things. I feel comfortable with being in charge of my health with Dr. Singh. He is very knowledgable.
