31 years ago "Pasha" & Dr Arlin took me in when others told my loved ones to "take him home, get his affairs in order...Maybe 6 weeks". Dr. Ahmed Put me at ease despite the diagnosis and treatment protocol. NHL. 4 months of Chemo(CHOP). Stem cell harvest, Marrow Harvest, CHEMO again...Transplant. I walked out 9 days post transplant. Forever thankful!!

Very through in telling you on treatment strategy and compassionate

Dr. Ahmed is wonderful. He’s really kind, patient and he speaks to me in plain English. I see him for check ups because I am a cancer survivor and I am very satisfied.

Dr. Ahmed is wonderful. Office staff, however, is not. I have been trying to get paperwork completed for four months now and get one excuse after another, if I even get a call back, and am now switching to another dr becuase of the office being unable to process my request.

Went for my routine blood work on 4/12/17. complained to Dr. Ahmed about pains in lower abdomin left side and destented stomach. Was told blood work was fine. 3Hrs later I reported to the E.R and was admitted for a pancreatic chronic attack. I am a pancreatic cancer survivor.My lipase levels were at a dangerous 1200 reading and was ordered to stay for 4 days and no food to let swelling subside and pancreas rest. Called office no one returned calls. I am so disappointed in him .

He saved my life in 1990 with an autogolous bone marrow transplant. I will be forever grateful to him and to the staff at Westchester Medical Center!!!

I have been Dr. Ahmed's patient for 5 years. I have a rare bone marrow failure disease which requires an excellent hematologist. I recently had to have an emergency appendectomy and I transferred myself from Northern Westchester Hospital to Westchester Medical Center so that Dr. Ahmed could oversee the procedure. Not only was he not present during the procedure or involved in the complex ordering of all the blood products I needed but he not once checked on me before or after the surgery. GB

Dr. Ahmed cared for my father through years of battling an incurable form of renal cancer. The care and compassion he showed our family as we struggled through this ordeal was extraordinary. The bond of trust he developed with my father helped Dad through tough times but most importantly gave hope where others dared not. Modern medicine can do remarkable things but can't approach what hope can do to a persons soul and psyche. Dr. Ahmed, thanks you for being a vessel of hope. Bless you sir
