Dr. Tate Lott Viehweg

Dr. V did two surgeries for me: double jaw and two implants. It was a very long and painful process (as you can imagine), but it was made easier by this great team — I had nothing but a good experience with Dr. V and the whole staff. He was straightforward but also caring, and the after-care was excellent. I had regular follow-ups after both surgeries to make sure everything still looked good. The staff was always friendly and kind, plus quick to respond to text. There was great communication between my orthodontist and surgeon. You’re in good hands here!

I have facial reconstruction surgery almost 5 years ago at the time it was an emergency and the doctor did my surgery not knowing if I was going to pay him or not. He knew I didn't have insurance but his concern was fixing my face. ( I was hit with a bat and it completely crushed my face) if it wasn't for doc I don't know what I would have done. His lack of concern about money and his commitment to restoring my face was above and beyond anything I could have asked for. Dr. Viehweg implanted 2 posts in preparation for implants and he also performed an extraction. From start to finish he provided excellent care and I could not be more pleased. I was especially impressed by his initial evaluation and post-treatment care. Strongly recommend.

Very very terrible to work with. Last year I got some X-rays done to have jaw surgery. I was told that insurance would cover. I was told that we wouldn’t have to pay for anything while we there, but instead we would just be billed! I was sent to have braces to prepare for the surgery and the braces ended up fixing the problem thus meaning I wouldn’t need the actual surgery. So my orthodontist said to just stick to the braces since they were working. Meanwhile we didn’t get ONE SINGLE NOTICE OR BILL. It was last month that a lawyer showed up at my door to serve a subpoena for the overdue bill. First time hearing about it and we were now due to owe $650 for one little x ray. Very bad experience with implant final process. the office and my dentist not communicating with each other. If i had the do it all over again i would find someone who does the complete process from implant surgery to the final denture abutment connection. NOT SEAMLESS AT ALL. Hidden Costs attempted to discuss the concerned experience and office manager lack the sensitivity necessary to make me feel good about the mishap. As a fellow business owner, these type occurrences can be crucial if not addressed. The Doctor was very competent, this was an administrative debacle for sure. I would highly recommend Dr. Viehweg. The staff is kind and helpful. I was quickly scheduled for surgery which went perfectly. It was for an orbital blowout of my eye. Delicate and obviously so important. So incredibly grateful and happy!! ????

We have had two teenage children see Dr Viehweg and staff. We could not be happier. Both had impacted wisdom teeth and from our first meeting to the last the care received was at its finest. The office staff was courteous and called to review times and appts the day before. They helped schedule both on a Friday morning so minimal school was missed. Dr Viehweg explained exactly what would take place from start to finish. For the severity of the procedures the recovery seemed quick (compared to two older siblings with another doctor) and both kids only missed a day of school. Overall our experience was amazing. Dr. Viehweg is the man! He helped me with an implant on my front tooth and it's rock solid. His staff was great to work with as well.

I had a mystery tooth that was causing pain and Dr. Viehweg found it where two other dental guys couldn't. He was very good with the anesthesia since I couldn't tell when the tooth was removed and it was a local anesthesia. Dr Viehweg came highly recommended by multiple medical professionals and a family friend. We couldn't be happier with the care our family has received. Dr Viehweg has removed 4 of our children's wisdom teeth through the years. When our oldest daughter required orthognathic surgery to repair the alignment of her upper and lower jaw, we chose Dr Viehweg after consultations with other surgeons. He provided a thorough explanation of what was needed and answered all our questions. The surgery was successful and the results are beautiful. Simply the best!

I would not recommend this DMD. Dr Viehweg performed the removal of a lip abscess. The procedure was performed under a local anesthetic and created enormous emotional trauma. It was extremely painful and the doctor did not respond to multiple requests for additional pain treatment. Separate charges, not billable to the insurance, were levied. Following the procedure, during a call to the office staff, they were rude, argumentative, unprofessional and hung up on the phone. Patients beware.

My son got his wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Viehweg. It was quick and his recovery was pretty quick and he didn't have a lot of pain or swelling. I was pleasantly surprised!

Dr Viehweg is a great doctor! He was very easy to approach with questions. He was very kind to us and went out of his way to help my daughter. I am so thankful for him. -Hunter

Several people in my family have seen Dr. Viehweg for a variety of reasons over the last two years. His staff is very friendly and we have always been seen right away. Dr. Viehweg is knowledgeable and kind and every issue for which we have seen him has resolved quickly. My teenage daughter who had her wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Viehweg recovered much more quickly than I expected her to!
