one of the best pediatricians in the dfw! wait time can be long. but he is a great doctor that explains in good detail any concerns! plus he has a good sense of humor to make kids laugh :)

The receptionist said the Dr could see my son at the moment, because he has autism, the Dr is not seeing any child with disabilities.

When leaving the doctors office, my seven year old said, “mommy he is rude and I don’t like him.”The doctor is rude, doesn’t listen and only give you three minutes of his time.

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Mirza! He has been my children’s Dr. for over 12 years!!

I am not really feeling this doctors office. Took my son for his year check up. He had a schedule appointment and he didn’t get seen until like 45 mins later. I guess they haven’t came back from lunch yet. When they did finally come back, they seen all of the people in the waiting area but still took their time checking people in. Very hard to get anyone to answer the phone. When they do they hang up on you. I had to call back multiple times. Don’t get me started on the refferal department. They said it will take 7-10 days for them to call you back but it’s been 2 weeks and neither have I or my sons speech therapy has heard back from them. He’s been needing to get a reauthorization for him to continue going to speech and nobody has returned no phone calls. My sons speech therapy has been canceled twice all because we can’t get anyone to send over an re-authorization. I will be taking my son else where after this. The girl I spoke to she doesn’t sound like she knows anything and was trying to tell me what she thought I needed to hear. I’m not dumb. My son has been going to speech since he was 18 months. I know how the process works. She kept telling me that they should be calling me once they get the referral. I told her I know that because they keep calling me to cancel his appointments because YOU have not sent in the paperwork that we’ve been calling weeks for. Dr. Mirza Tariq was NOT kid friendly at all!!! And rushed through my kids visit my son recently did physical therapy Dr. Mirza said he didn't need it anymore he was WRONG!! I have been coming to Dr. Mirza for over 7 years I did bring my first child to him as an assigned doctor from Presbyterian(Dallas), which is also the best hospital to give birth in my opinion. I now have 4 kids and will never go anywhere else to have my kids seen. He's never been wrong with any diagnosis for my children.

Been coming here for the past 8 years (he has seen my daughter since she was just a few days old) now fast forward to my second child, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

We have been going to Dr Tariq Mirza for 14 plus years. He is friendly and also professional at the same time. He understands children’s psychology and works with a lot of patience. Staff is good and well trained. Clean office and cute rooms.

Dr Mirza is actually a great doctor, it's his (team) representing him that are the problem. He needs a whole new round of staff. Time for a huge change!

I've been coming here for the last 11yrs and I can honestly say this place is becoming to be stressful to come anymore...You schedule a appointment and you come on time even early for your appointment and your still not seen til hours after the appointment. The staff are not friendly or kind at all. They should have some kindof training of how to treat people and talk to people. I think I will change doctors after this visit. This is my second visit in the last 2 weeks and I am very unpleased with the situation. Worst doctor that sees the patients just only as paychecks. A doctor shouldn’t be so selfish let alone a pediatrician. My friend recommended me and took my sons but he was very rude and instead of my kids safety and my confidence all he cared about was his time. I don’t not recommend for anyone.

I’ve been going to Dr Mirza for about 8 years now with my 3 kids and he is amazing. He is always very happy and full of energy, you hear him as he’s making his rounds through the offices. He educates you if there’s something you’re unsure of for your kid (for me it was how to get my 3 year old to open his mouth and not spit back medicine at me hehe) the staff has gotten better over the years and it’s easier to make an appt (when you can make it in because his schedules fill fast) :( I’ve been going to Dr Mirza for about 8 years now with my 3 kids and he is amazing. My newborn was seen by Dr. Mirza at the Dallas Presbyterian Hospital and continued to see him at his office until her 2 week check up. I am happy with how she was treated and wish I could continue with him if only he accepted my insurance. But nonetheless I would definitely refer him to others.

My son has been seeing Dr Mirza since 11/5/2017 Dr Mirza is a wonderful , kind and funny doctor I gave this post 3stars bc I had an appt. For 2of my sons Denise checked me in during the time of the wait she informed me one of my kids Medicaid was inactive I said ok and remained to wait for my other child after 30mins i noticed another patient being called back so i asked denise what was going on I was here before that patient she stated that she thought i was going to reschedule bc the other kid couldn't get seen she said have a seat before i could have a seat a 2nd patient was called back I felt that denise was very dismissive and not empathetic about the situation after being dismissed to wait beyond the 30mins i had already waited she never even apologized for what she did so at that point i simply walked out and went around the corner and transferred my child to Dr Celia although i love Dr Mirza when a patient comes in the 1st ppl they meet are the staff which assist on behalf of the doctor and should be empathetic. I am grateful to have found Dr. Mirza, he is very professional, passionate and caring for others. Despite his busy schedule he always takes his time explaining any concerns one might have especially as a first-time mother. FIRST OF ALL HIS STAFF IS SO RUDE THEY DONT EVEN SPEAK JUST WANTS THE CHILD NAME!!! ITS NOT KID FRIENDLY, NO TOYS IN THE WAITING AREA NO PICTURES ON THE WALL, LOOK LIKE A JAIL WAITING ROOM! THEN I ASKED TO GET REFERRED TO A ALLERGY DOCTOR SO MY CHILD CAN TESTED AND DR MIRZA STARTED YELLING AND ARGUING WITH ME IN FRONT OF MY 1yr old CHILD, ALL BECAUSE I WANTED TO GET HER TESTED, TO MAKE SURE SHE WASNT ALLERGIC, because she continued to break out, he was soooo Mad because he felt i did not trust his opinion, so he said i shouldnt come back! The Doctor is great!

I've been taking my sons to Dr.Mirza for eight years. You can tell how much he loves the children.

Dr. Mirza doesn't only give vaccines and walk away He actually gives you good advice on diet and other things we all should be doing with our babies

I've been taking my kids here for years now. This man loves his job and is awesome at it. He makes everyone happy and comfortable. He will answer any questions you may have and does a good job of explaining things. The staff has always been friendly. I don't mind waiting for this quality of care.

You can never talk to anyone to make an appointment. Their voicemail is always full and the wait is long. The doctor is fine, my daughter has gone there for three years but the service is a poor and unprofessional.

Great Pediatrician, I have my younger boys with him.. & he's amazing & wouldn't change him at all.

Had Dr Mirza since the birth of my son, and now he is 9 years old and even though we are about 30 mins away now... no way will I change my sons doctor! This guy is awesome and we'll worth the drive!

My children have been seeing Dr. Mirza since the birth of my daughter and she is now 10. I have never had any issues with him and the kids Love him. He loves what he does and it shows in the care for the children.

This wonderful great guy is a heaven sent from above. My 2 boy's have been with Dr. Mirza for ten years and counting in God's will. He's very passionate and caring when it comes down to the children. Treats our family like his own. Couldn't ask for a better Dr. for my kids. ☺

I love Dr. Mirza he has been with both my kids since birth. Always available when needed and his staff is great. One year my daughter fell off the monkey bars and broke her "wrist" as what an Orthopedic doctor told us and when we went to follow up with Dr. Mirza he knew as soon as he looked at her whole arm that it wasn't just her wrist, he sent us for more X-rays and sure enough it was her whole arm. He truly cares for his patients and is an AMAZING Doctor I wouldn't take my kids to anyone else. I love Dr. Mirza he has been with both my kids since birth.
