Tang Ho

Dr. Ho is excellent! He chose the right type of surgery for me and performed it perfectly. Also, it was practically painless. He just now removed the stints after a week of recovery, and I can finally breathe very well through my nose for the first time in years! I highly recommend this surgeon, not only for his expertise, but for his kind and funny manner.

My experience with Dr. Ho was outstanding. He took time to talk through the procedure to help me understand exactly what the surgery would be and what I would be experiencing post surgery. After rhino and septoplasty, I had very little to no pain and my recovery was excellent. I would trust Dr. Ho with surgery for other family members and highly recommend him to anyone else looking for a procedure.

I was referred to Dr Ho for a Basel cell carcinoma on my left nostril. The surgery was done at St Luke's in Lufkin because there was a pathologist on staff who could test the tissue to make sure the cancer was all removed. I waited on the operating table for results and since cancer cells were found on the perimeter a second incision was necessary. That is where the problem started. When he sewed me up, it was a zig zag incision all the way up to the bridge of my nose. Instead of using small stitches which is normally done on the face, they were 1/4" and I am left with very visible scarring and bumps at each zig zag. I was referred to this physician for a septoplasty after an assault. The doctor and his team were nice however Dr. Ho assured me my nose would look the same. During the surgery they shaved my bridge down substantially so that I now have a two dips in my profile. My nose appears wider now because my bridge has no height. I came in with a beautiful but misaligned nose and breathing issues from being violently attacked and left looking like someone else. I don’t know if it can be fixed. I would not suggest anyone seeing this doctor for a septoplasty. He will allow his residents to do procedures that weren’t agreed on. I miss my face and how I looked before Dr. Ho. Also, the procedure was excruciating and they did little follow up and gave no pain medication. I had many nose bleeds that were severe and the nursing staff was unavailable to help. If you have a traumatic injury do not see this doctor they will only add to it. I would not suggest this doctor for rhinoplasty or septoplasty because he disfigured my face. Dr. Ho is simply amazing. He truly listens to all your questions and concerns. I came to him last year with a deviated septum that I have had previous surgery on somewhere else (but failed to correct the deviated septum). Here I am a year later and am extremely happy with my results. He performed rhinoseptoplasty to fix my deviated septum from the inside out. I am very happy with my results and the recovery process. In short, I had a sinus procedure and a nose reconstruction due to a deviated septum and several nose fractures. Between allergies and constricted breathing, I was suffering for far too long. I met with Dr. Ho and Dr. Yao. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and the talent of these two doctors. The whole process from diagnosis to surgery was seamless. At the hospital, from checkin to checkout the process was smooth with a highly talented team. And, significantly, the results of my procedure have been spectacular. One month post surgery my condition has completely reversed and my quality of life is now a 10 out of 10. I am enormously thankful to these two skillful doctors, their staffs, and hospital personnel. I had two moles removed from my face while I was having a sinus operation performed by another doctor. The work done was fantastic, with the cuts/stitching being minimal. Due to a fracture, I decided to move forward with the surgery to improve my breathing, nosebleeds, etc and I was very scared of any possible external changes to my nose. He reassured me that my nose would look the same. It's only been a little more than a week, but my nose looks exactly the same as before and I can actually use 100% of my nose now. Our daughter was in a very bad automobile accident in May 2018. She was thrown from her vehicle and broke her orbits, nose, both cheeks, chin and jaw. She was taken to Hermann Memorial after the accident. Dr. Ho did all three surgeries on her face and did a phenomenal job. She has no scarring on her face and to look at her you would never know she was in a wreck. Dr. Ho is a wonderful kind doctor and we feel so blessed to have him as her doctor. Both my wife and I had complex surgery for broken bones in our face after an accident. We were distraught from the accident and thoughts of getting things repaired. Dr Ho is calming, reassuring, and very professional. We have complete and total trust in him, and grateful for his skill and willingness to describe the process with us. i have the highest respect for him.

Dr. Ho is very seasoned / experienced in facial surgery. He is compassionate and truly wants to make one's life better. He reconstructed some small fractures in my cheek and eye socket following a motorcycle accident. He really knows and cares about using the best products and practices for surgeries.

Found out I had Dematofibrosascaroma Protuberans on my face Jan 2016. I had multiple surgeries since to reconstruct my face and Dr. Tang Ho has been amazing.
