Dr. Tammy Ting-Yu Shen Jacobs

This was my first visit here to see Dr. Tammy Jacobs and I was very impressed. Tammy was very knowledgeable and patient. I feel like I have a better understanding of what is going on with my body and s good plan to make things better after years of thinking that I just had to deal with my miserable problems and allergies. Thank you so much, I'm very glad that I found her office.

We saw Dr. Jacobs and she was so wonderful! She took time to answer my questions and made sure we thoroughly understood all our treatment options. Our experience was great and we will definitely be returning when needed.

Nice facility. Dr was very knowledgeable and was patient in explaining things to me. She was courteous, tuned into me, and thorough. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Jacobs.

The people there didn’t introduce themselves, they didn’t explain what they were going to do, they tested mainly for environmental things when my son has issues with food. I was left in the room for 15 minutes with no idea of what was going on because they just dumped me and my son in there and left. I didn’t feel like I could talk to them because I had to interrupt in order to ask a question, and I felt like they dismissed my questions. The general vibe I got off of the allergist was that since my son wasn’t allergic to nuts, other food allergies were of no concern because kids can grow out of them. It felt like they were just trying to get my son’s test done as soon as possible so that they could get me out of the door and out of their hair. I left this place in tears. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Dr. Jacobs, Dr. Burkhardt, Melissa (my fav) and all the staff are so kind, helpful and funny.

She was good at explaining allergies to us and took her time. She didn't really explain what the scratch test for skin allergies entailed nether did her nurse that administered the test so my kid was very surprised by the pain of it, and the nurse was impertinent about it (kid was 6yrs. and flinching a lot). I'd give 4+ stars for the doctor who was pleasant and knowledgeable and one star for her front end staff and nurse that were rude and dismissive (I'd fire them all except the youngish one that bleaches the ends of her hair from dark brown to blonde- she was polite and nice, and seamed to try and make up for the other's bad manners). We also waited nearly an hour to get in a roon where we then waited another 20 minutes to meet with the doctor. We don't have a big enough allergy problem to need to go back, and I'm glad purely because her rude staff wrecked my otherwise nice experience. June, 27 2018 afternoon visit. Very friendly staff. Dr. Jacobs was very good at walking us through what was going on and answering all my questions.

I felt they were very thorough in explaining everything and they gave me multiple options for helping with my allergies. Tammy was very professional and the nurses were all kind.

I had to go with all my children(5) and the younger ones were having a rough time being quiet, but the staff and Dr Jacobs never complained and seemed understanding and work around it. I was really impressed and made me feel less stressed.

Dr. Jacobs took plenty of time to understand all my conditions. She explained what concerns are related to allergies and referred me to a GI for my food intolerance concerns. She performed or recommended a variety of tests that would address all my concerns. She was respectful of my opinion and really listened.

Dr. Jacobs was great. We are still in the process though. But so far our experience was good. She did a great job at explaining what to watch for and understand our baby's reaction and what the next steps were.

Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Jacobs. I started out impressed because she actually introduced herself to me and asked me my name- doctors never seem to do that! But she took her time with us, taught me so much about my son's peanut allergy and promised to follow up after some other testing is complete. Dr. Jacobs is worth the wait! It took me a couple months to get in with her and now that we’ve been in I feel a lot better about my toddler’s environmental and food allergies. I feel very educated and prepared about anything that may come up. It’s a big deal to me to finally have peace of mind about my child’s health issues. Thank you Dr. Jacobs! The front desk and other nurses were also great and caring.

She was very knowledgable & her & her staff was very professional with their work!

It was a pretty long wait (2+ hours) but other than that the doctor was infomative and knowledgable.

It did take a long time for the appointment to be completed. We were there most of the morning. But I felt like the doctor actually really listened and explained everything we needed to know and was patient with our questions. The nurses were very kind with our daughter whom received the testing.

Dr. Jacobs was wonderful!! I brought in my 5 month old, which her and her staff were extremely sweet to him. She answered all my questions and listened to my concerns. I waited about an hour before seeing the doctor, which is frustrating, especially with a little one. I also wish the beds in the exam rooms were covered with paper.

First of all, I am pretty picky when it comes to Doctors. I won't see go and see anyone, I always do my research before seeing a doctor. I LOVED Dr Jacobs. I honestly I took my two year old to see Dr Jacobs for food allergies. I was trying to decide between seeing Dr Jacobs or another highly recommended allergist in the county, but when I found out Dr Jacobs did her residency in pediatrics that was the deciding factor. I spent 3 hours in her office figuring things out and appreciated the time and attention of her staff. I was impressed by the courtesy of the staff at Dr. Jacobs office. I was in for my appointment on time. Everyone was personable and polite. She was very easy to talk to and friendly. She answered all of my questions very thoroughly and taught me a lot about allergies that I didn't already know even though both of my kids have food allergies!

Shes friendly, professional, and didn't just tell us what needed to be done, but also why and how it works. Nurse who did the skin pricks was also very good with my 4 year old.

Staff explained every step of the procedure. Dr. Jacobs listened to me and discussed possible options. Overall very professional and friendly.
